Been waiting for this freakin game for 3 damn years!!!
Only thing left for me to do is make jello shots and help Hubby pack the car. We're only 30 minutes away and meeting up with our party of 9 at noon tomorrow.
I want to echo gvol's sentiments in wishing all safe travels, an injury free and competative game and a big ol fat W for our Vol's when the clock clicks down to 00:00.
:yahoo::rock:
GBO!!!
My stomach is starting to knot up a little thinking about tomorrow. I keep telling myself that offensive offense I saw last week was just a fluke but there is doubt in my mind I won't lie
We can't embarrass ourselves on the stage we got tomorrow night. V Tech is a decent team but there isn't a good reason for us not to handle those Original Recipe boys.
I think we win by two scores but I also think we could easily s**t the bed too.
How's yalls nerves right now, and please feel free to call me chicken little or a sissy sumb*tch and tell me how we're going to roll tomorrow. Put my mind and intestines at ease Nation![]()

Well...I'm packing the car, getting ready to head to Bristol. Lived (on the TN side) there for 16 years and looking forward to going back, especially for a VOL game. After our lackluster showing against App, I'm looking forward to a breakout game.
Hope there are many pics of the scene...I'll see if I can get some posted. Taking my binoculars so I can see, and hope all Vols (and Hokies) travel safely and see a good clean, injury free game with a big Vol win.
But...gotta be honest, I really, really dread dealing with the crowd and the traffic...been to many a race there, and it can be brutal.
Post any pics you may have if you're already there! Looking forward to singing Rocky Top (no woo) with my Vol Brethren!
Go Vols!
That's what kept me from going! People have called all week begging me and my wife to go but I believe I'll watch it on TV where I can see EVERYTHING and have drinks in the fridge and not have to wait in line to get them and food on the grill and when the game is over, I can go straight to bed and not have to wait for HOURS!I still haven't decided if I'm going or not. I need to decide, I was planning on leaving for Knoxville no later than 4. I would be riding a bus from Knoxville but still having to wait in traffic on way home, is one of reasons I'm still up in the air. Also, I am afraid I won't be able to see much. It looks so far away. It would be like sitting on Thompson-Boling and watching a game in Neyland Stadium.
