Let's make sure we're beating Northwestern first. On the off chance that we actually lose, it's not going to be because they're a better team because they're not, it's gonna be because we didn't take them seriously.
Give us some Dormady and some John Kelly.
Who else do you guys want to see?

If it gets to that point, whoever Butch decides deserves it.
I will refraim from participating in veiled trash talking about Northwestern. I will also avoid saying it is akin to getting into a battle of wits with an unarmed person. I won't talk about how they lost to Iowa 40-10. Nor will I make snide comments about their "rock".
However, I should compliment them on beating mighty Ball State 24-19. Perhaps by Jan 1, I will control my trembling at the mention of Evanston, IL., wherever that is.
I'm sure they would compliment us for beating mighty (3-9) USC Jr. 27-24 in a game we could have very easily lost. They did beat Stanford which is better than any team we beat. Just saying............
The same SC that gave the #1 Clemson all they could handle. The close win against SC isnt even comparable to their Ball St win.
Well if you don't want to hear or see it I wouldn't recommend coming to a Tennessee message board? I figured a smart Northwestern guy like yourself could figure that out. Kick rocks.Okay, the only teams Tennessee "blew out" this year were bowling green (solid MAC team) Kentucky (dog **** SEC team), Vandy (extremely mediocre SEC team) and western Carolina (as any top 25 team should).
North Texas (1-11 non power 5 team) held them to 24 points, not a "blowout" per se, especially considering who they played, and barely beat USCe....
What makes you think you're gonna blow out a top 15 team in the country so badly you can coast with second stringers?
And don't give me the Iowa and Michigan rebuttal. Iowa is a top 5 team in the entire country. Michigan only scored 21 points on offense.
It's gonna be hilarious coming back to these boards on New Year's Day if northwestern wins, which they very well could
