It’s Pruitt

Stoops has been there 8 years. I'm not saying Pruitt is the answer, but we hired a first time head coach and he should get time to learn. If we wanted a proven coach, we shouldn't have hired him. Firing him at this point doesn't make sense to me.

Well shoot far you spend that much money adopting a grown college student, you want to use your opportunity as his Coach Daddy to make sure he plays! That's just good stewardship.

Because JG was playing well through the first 2 games of the year. Then he has a bad game against the best D in the country and all of a sudden he's done? Of course not. Noone saw this coming today, not even Pruitt.

Playing well? We are a Henry T pick six from being one and three with a loss to South Carolina. JG didn't play well enough for us to actually win that game.

Has it really been 8 years? Man, time flies when your football team completely sucks every year.

He needs to just play Bailey from here on out. Get the future started now. Looks like the season is evolving into a bust. Let’s grow the next signal caller.
Put him out in his first start against Alabama? Probably not a good plan, I recall a quarterback we did that with against Florida and it destroyed his confidence (until he transferred, that is).

We just have to hope and pray Bailey develops into a baller. Pruitt's job rests on it

True let the lions eat JG and play Bailey the rest of the way -- might as well develop the kid now since the season is garbage either way from this covid hoax

They really can't afford that at this point. With the loss of revenue from crowd size and Pruitt's contract, the school isn't in a position to fire Pruitt.

I don't think he played great that game but he did throw the game winning td...and it was the first game of the season. Then he looked solid against MO. I just don't think a bad game against GA is enough to pull him.

Oh I do. But not when you throw in another pick and a fumble. 4 turnovers are extremely deflating..even to a talented team.

Yep

But you got talent, that “could” block......that “could” come in at QB, that could stop Kentucky, that could adjust and do something themselves.

14 points sucked early. Poor coaching, poor performance, lack of motivation and discipline caused it to suck for the entire game.

He hasn’t learned in 3 years with JG to recruit an immediate impact guy or develop your other QBs?

I mean, I am not the General here, but when your highly touted recruit has to have a special scrimmage to get some reps....that just doesn’t seem like learning on the job....seems more like a stubborn a$$.

No one saw this coming?? Did you forget the blue font? You must have missed the 500 something odd threads in this forum the last few year's if not.
