It’s Pruitt

Because JG was playing well through the first 2 games of the year. Then he has a bad game against the best D in the country and all of a sudden he's done? Of course not. Noone saw this coming today, not even Pruitt.
You can’t be serious. Majority of the fan base knew JG is only consistent at one thing; being inconsistent. It was bound for him to blow a game we have no business losing. And that streak last year we all got excited about all come down to the wire. We have enough talent to be competing for the East this year. It’s obvious at this point that we have an incompetent staff.

I'm basically saying we just have to hope Bailey develops on his own time. Like Josh Dobbs did because lord knows he wasn't getting proper coaching.

I don’t know what it is, but something is definitely up with this staff.

Weinke was once thought of as one of the best QB developers in the game......now he can’t coach a QB to save his job?? Something just doesn’t seem right.

How is he going to be able to? That's the question. This staff has already demonstrated they don't develop the back-ups. I understand that Bailey has missed a lot which isn't his or the coaches fault at this point, but that makes the situation worse. The other 2 have been on the roster for 2yrs and still aren't ready to play. Watch, they'll still strut JG out there the rest of the season. JG also likely comes back next yr on account of it and it will be the same song and dance. I hope to God I'm proven wrong, but I doubt it.
Heard 2 things the broadcasters said today that brings clarity:
1: “Chaneys offense ask more of and may be the hardest in the Sec for a QB to run.”

So is it any surprise that the QB that has at least 2 yrs more experience than any other has a better grasp and makes the least mistakes in practice? Even if the others have more ability.
2: “Bailey had about 10 snaps in practice and came out 1 day and looked terrible, and Pruitt said he didn’t have time to waist practice on the 4th string QB”

Probably why none of the backups are developed or ready!

Where it's hard to argue is that we have evidence that for the 3rd year in a row, there is a loss that is really hard to explain.

2018- Vandy
2019- Georgia State
2020- Kentucky

With this Kentucky game, it's not the loss but the margin. I'm scared to play Kentucky with what the Florida defense is doing right now. But, 34-7? You can't justify not being competitive.

I've already said that Pruitt isn't going anywhere because of budgets and COVID. However, if they go to Arkansas and lose to a program that had not won a conference game since 2017 before finally getting a win this year......Pruitt may keep his job, but he's done.

I know this is a drastic departure from where I was last week. But, today was bad. Real bad.

Only about half the membership on Vol nation
Saw it coming. Maybe not predicting the exact game, but we no he has 3-4 bad games every year. Sometimes it’s back to back, sometimes 3 games in between, but we all know it’s coming.
I mean noone saw this coming, mainly Pruitt, to the point of not playing JG today. That was the point.

I know. It’s going to happen. You can predict it, just not when!
Move on and hope your next starting QB doesn’t have 2-3 meltdowns a year, and hope you avoid these embarrassing losses.

We’re 3 years removed from a true freshman running Chaneys offense to a NC game and almost winning. Bray put up Over 15 TDS in the last 5 games of his freshman year. What’s so hard about Chaneys offense?

Could not agree more w CJP when he said you “don’t throw a ball 40 yards sideways to gain 4 yards.” Bad call CJC.

God how many times does this need to be said...

WHO

KEEPS

PUTTING

JARRET GAURANTANO

OUT

THERE????

PRUITT!!
Yes, but I believe we have a solid and improving team elsewhere. The one position ((Qb) is having a negative influence on the play of all other position groups and the team as a whole.

Don’t ask me but it that’s what was said!
And I’ve been wondering why the #1 overall recruit in the nation couldn’t get on the field at Georgia any more than our backups do here,
And turned into a Hiesman candidate at Oh st.
And why the whole team from 4 QB’s to O line to running backs struggle in the passing game

I expected a performance like this......if he has one side it'll be down. Just to what degree. This year is no different than last. I wasn't at all surprised by the performance at GA........he doesn't ever show up in games that matter. He cannot handle the lights in games like that. I wasn't surprised by the performance today either......except for maybe the degree. However, I did think he was capable of it......and I saw it today.
