Israel vs Palestinians II

The seizing of land could be argued as defensive. Particularly the Golan Heights. It was strategic territory used for attacks on Israel.

I won't argue Israel hasn't acted in bad faith at times. But the land seized in almost every instance came after coordinated attacks from it's neighbors, from that territory seized.
Their biggest seizure of land came after they attacked, so I'm not sure if that's accurate.

Google tells me that in 2023 there were 2.23 million people in Gaza. It also tells me that in 2025 there are 2.114 million people in Gaza. In 2 years of war, they have had approximately 100,000 killed or displaced. That is hardly a genocide in an active warzone during conflict.

In 1987, when Hamas was formed, there were 2,500 Jews living in Gaza. By 2005, that number had grown to 8,000. Now, there are none. Sounds like a pretty effective genocide to me by the Palestinians living in Gaza against the Jewish population there.

EV makes constant reference to Hamas' "Charter" not calling for genocide of Jews. He has failed to show where the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel or Israel's Basic Law calls for genocide of Palestinians.

I've been to Israel. Spent two weeks traveling there. Interestingly, I traveled with a Palestinian. Who had a family of Palestinians. Living in Israel. Even serving in the Israeli armed forces.

There is no Israeli genocide of Palestinians. There is a war in Gaza.
Israel resettled the settlers that were in Gaza to other locations. They weren't destroyed or harmed and their relocation wasn't done by hamas. So again, no genocide. I guess you're writing that as a meme now since it can't be taken seriously.
Regarding what's been happening recently in Gaza, look at the legal definition of genocide which isn't the same as the vernacular definition.
Your having been to Israel is nice but it doesn't change what's happened.

What is Palestine and who are Palestinians?

Palestine seems to have been coined about 5th BCE in Greek literature, referred to as a southern district of Syria termed Palaistine. About 2 CE, Romans used the term Palestine and it is accepted this was a term used to insult and diminish the Jew in their subjugation, and historical relation to the land. The territory has changed ruling hands a number of times from then, with the creation of Islam in the 7th and the Muslim Crusades and Arab conquest sweeping the Middle East, subsequent Christian Crusades, rule of the Mamluk until 1517 when the Ottomans took it and lost in WWI. Fun fact: prior to Muslim Arab conquest and colonization, the Middle East was the cradle of Christendom and the majority religious affiliation. Refer to the Arabs as 7th century invaders and colonizers when debating the issue; the blank stares are fun.

Long history points to Transjordan as part of Palestine and was historically ancient Jewish homeland. The original 1920 British Mandate had drawn it that way, but Churchill removed it in 1921 and designated it for Arab homeland.

It's hard to grasp how many inhabitants historically referred to themselves as Palestinian, if any, and it's of little importance. It seems primarily that when communicating with someone beyond the region, it was common to refer to oneself as South Syrian as Palestine was long Syrian territory. Often one identified with the city, town, or village they were from if conversing with someone who'd perhaps regional knowledge. Of course, it was quite common to refer to oneself in tribal and terms of religious affiliation, too. Outside the region, it was common to refer to inhabitants as South Syrians.

The term Palestinians is literally a clever, political term conjured in the mid-1900s by Arafat and the like. It was a colossal shell-game maneuver Yothat worked; a gambit to imprint upon global political consciousness that an Arab and only an Arab in the region Palestine, was Palestinian. And that implied a legitimate claim to land, stolen from them by the Jew aided by the British.

In satire, it's as if a political group of people in MI, WI, MO decided to stake a claim to the region as Midwesternia, and contested the sovereignty of each state government. Without obligation to supply evidence of the Midwesternia government's prior existence, its currency, military, and civil and legal intrastructure. And having established those things, that the nation of Midwesternia was known or recognized by any other nation to have existed.

The bottom line is that the Arab is no more or less Palestinian than the Jew who never left it, or inhabit it today. After multiple sovereignty changes, it is now Israeli. The Jew's claim to the land is as valid than the Arab who colonized it in the 7th century, and now attempt to reclaim with sleight of hand today.
People whose families had been living in Europe for going on 2,000 years have as much right to a land as those whose families have lived there for hundreds and thousands of years? There's the slight of hand.

Right to land exists by military conquest

I visited Bethlehem

Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, was over 80% Christian under Israeli control.

In 1995, the Palestinian Authority took over.

After 30 years, Bethlehem is now less than 10% Christian.

This is what ethnic cleansing looks like.

The IPC is changing the definition of the word "Famine" in order to blame it on Israel. UN & other Hamas allies have started parroting this and you're going to start seeing Israel accused of this everywhere.

The UN just declared a “famine” in Gaza based on fewer than 300 reported deaths, in a war zone. Most of those numbers come from Hamas-run sources, with no neutral verification.

Now let’s look at the history of real famine:
•Sudan (2024–25): over 150,000 dead, including an estimated 522,000 children currently starving.
•Somalia (2011): 250,000 dead.
•Ethiopia (1983–85): 400,000 to a million dead.
•Yemen (2016–today): called the world’s worst humanitarian disaster for years, with millions starving, yet no official famine ever declared.

There has never, ever, been a famine declaration in UN history with numbers this small, and certainly numbers that aren’t independently verified and in a war zone, Famine has always meant tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of deaths.

Yet in Gaza, the UN fast-tracked a famine declaration after fewer than 300 unverified deaths.

This isn’t about humanitarian science — the UN’s own standards have NEVER been applied like this before.

This is politics. The UN has weaponized the label of “famine” to demonize Israel, while staying silent in crises where the human toll was exponentially greater.

The UN’s standards aren’t humanitarian — they are political blood libel.

Let's just take Greece, Italy, Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Croatia; combine all.of them together. Make them convert to Orthodox Christianity (outlaw any other religios), put the Capital in Constantinople (or Istanbul) and call this new nation Romania, Byzantine Empire, or Roman Empire and call it a day. Bring Roman/Christian order back to the Middle East region before the Muhammad insanity crap. All of these nations were better off when they were Roman Provinces anyways.
Why only those places and not others once ruled by the Roman Empire? Also why do your imaginary timelines and solutions end up with Byzantine rule? They weren't all that.

Give Greece back Istanbul then and apologize for the ethnic genocide of Greeks in Turkey, Assyrians in Iraq, Armenians, Coptic Egyptians etc by all your Arab/Islamic cult brethren.

Why is Constantinople even a part of Turkey today?

When is Islam going to apologize for their ethnic genocides highlighted above?
That vision's unrealistic and one sided to say the least. Would the Greeks apologize for their atrocities too and would Christianity apologize for its genocides?

Yesterday, Hamas boasted that it executed four Palestinians for "collaborating with Israel," including one aid worker.

But instead of writing about that, the media ran unverified allegations from Hamas that Israel killed four Palestinian aid seekers

For reference, here is Hamas posting about yesterday's executions

From efischberger

If the Canadian government invaded the US murdered, raped, and kidnapped US citizens I would hope we carpet bomd the **** out of them until our hostages were returned. In this scenario Canadian children aren't more important than gaza citizens. You deserve whats coming. Do the children deserve it? No. But here we are.

Until every single hostage is released I dont care what Israel does. Their enemy isn't valuing life more than they are. Screw them.

Mine are worth more than yours.

100% this. Good post.

Then you add to the fact that not only does Israel constantly supply electricity, food, water, medicine etc to all the people in Gaza (most of which is stolen by their enemies hamas). Also that for the 1st time ever in a war they frequently send out mass text messages, radio broadcasts and TV telling people EXACTLY where they are gonna bomb/attack beforehand so that innocents and civilians have time to evacuate...ALL in the name of minimizing civilian casualties. Despite the fact that all of these measures make it more difficult for them to completely vanquish the terrorists who still hold their women and children hostage to this very day.

No other country on Earth would do that. No other country has done that. Only Israel has done all these things, yet we STILL have to listen to these Leftist idiots cry all the time about fake "genocide" and " free Palestine". Its absolutely insane to anyone who actually knows the facts. As I have stated previously they should announce everyone better evacuate except hamas...bomb that place into oblivion....then bulldoze it all and rebuild Western Israel.

The Free Free Palestine movement is a hate cult. It needs to be studied

In what other situation do you have a group supporting the very group that despises them?
