Israel vs Palestinians II

So we were bombing Libya with bunghole seeking bayonets? That's news.
Yes Obama's actions against Ghadafi and most of his foreign policy were idiotic.
Agreed, Obama's legacy for anyone with intellectual honesty is extremely problematic, particularly in foreign policy....... But that's par for the course of American Presidents since at least the 60's.

It’s really not that hard to understand.
2 million Arabs in Israel living as citizens. No Jews in Gaza. There used to be. Where did they go?

Who is committing “Genocide” again?

Google tells me that in 2023 there were 2.23 million people in Gaza. It also tells me that in 2025 there are 2.114 million people in Gaza. In 2 years of war, they have had approximately 100,000 killed or displaced. That is hardly a genocide in an active warzone during conflict.

In 1987, when Hamas was formed, there were 2,500 Jews living in Gaza. By 2005, that number had grown to 8,000. Now, there are none. Sounds like a pretty effective genocide to me by the Palestinians living in Gaza against the Jewish population there.

EV makes constant reference to Hamas' "Charter" not calling for genocide of Jews. He has failed to show where the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel or Israel's Basic Law calls for genocide of Palestinians.

I've been to Israel. Spent two weeks traveling there. Interestingly, I traveled with a Palestinian. Who had a family of Palestinians. Living in Israel. Even serving in the Israeli armed forces.

There is no Israeli genocide of Palestinians. There is a war in Gaza.

Love reading your content, although it probably gets ignored by the people it’s intended for. Nobody can fault you for making an effort and being respectful, hopefully you are able to start a productive conversation.

Anyways, I copied this from something I watched earlier and it resonated after reading your pst.

People who say the most horrendous things about the Jews know deep down that you are telling a truth that they don’t like because it goes against a preferred narrative or they are just raciest. Hamas can’t win the truth and they can’t win on the battlefield. But they can win the propaganda war if they lie hard enough and throw in a little casual antisemitism.
I'm glad anyone gleans something useful from it, which is the only reason to post it. But it's really a waste of (my) time; almost never does anyone move off a position they've vested in. Imagine finding some prose amid Hamas charter that blinds you to the extermination language, even when being shown Hamas leaders on Hamas' media network and in Arab media repeating the extermination line, but being a useful tool with entrenched position say "But, but....look at the flowery prose part".

Geez...I just don't have the same time or inclination anymore to spend days/weeks here arguing against that.

The Nakba, for instance, is always characterized as Jews driving out Palestinians for land. I'm certain Arab and Jewish militia groups were war-criming the hell out of each other in 1947/1948, waging pogroms against one another. The admissions of Arab leaders heavily influencing that Arab flight is literally never talked about, just as incidents like Deir Yassin are never talked about by Israel advocates. It's an incredibly deep & wide subject that even page-long posts don't begin to reveal.

The bottom line is, Israel isn't going anywhere, ever. They are estimated to have as many as 300 nuclear warheads. If they are ever driven to the brink of survival again, they should use them.

That's the danger of accepting as fact, anti-Jew propaganda that encourages the Islamist, while telling yourself and everyone else, "it's not Jews I hate, it's Zionists".

Zionism is the Jewish homeland now realized. Put away the scalpel, there is no hair of distinction to split there.

But Hamas said Jews could live in flowery bliss under Muslim rule.
I'm giving back my Hamas pledge pin.

What is Palestine and who are Palestinians?

Palestine seems to have been coined about 5th BCE in Greek literature, referred to as a southern district of Syria termed Palaistine. About 2 CE, Romans used the term Palestine and it is accepted this was a term used to insult and diminish the Jew in their subjugation, and historical relation to the land. The territory has changed ruling hands a number of times from then, with the creation of Islam in the 7th and the Muslim Crusades and Arab conquest sweeping the Middle East, subsequent Christian Crusades, rule of the Mamluk until 1517 when the Ottomans took it and lost in WWI. Fun fact: prior to Muslim Arab conquest and colonization, the Middle East was the cradle of Christendom and the majority religious affiliation. Refer to the Arabs as 7th century invaders and colonizers when debating the issue; the blank stares are fun.

Long history points to Transjordan as part of Palestine and was historically ancient Jewish homeland. The original 1920 British Mandate had drawn it that way, but Churchill removed it in 1921 and designated it for Arab homeland.

It's hard to grasp how many inhabitants historically referred to themselves as Palestinian, if any, and it's of little importance. It seems primarily that when communicating with someone beyond the region, it was common to refer to oneself as South Syrian as Palestine was long Syrian territory. Often one identified with the city, town, or village they were from if conversing with someone who'd perhaps regional knowledge. Of course, it was quite common to refer to oneself in tribal and terms of religious affiliation, too. Outside the region, it was common to refer to inhabitants as South Syrians.

The term Palestinians is literally a clever, political term conjured in the mid-1900s by Arafat and the like. It was a colossal shell-game maneuver that worked; a gambit to imprint upon global political consciousness that an Arab and only an Arab in the region Palestine, was Palestinian. And that implied a legitimate claim to land, stolen from them by the Jew aided by the British.

In satire, it's as if a political group of people in MI, WI, MO decided to stake a claim to the region as Midwesternia, and contested the sovereignty of each state government. Without obligation to supply evidence of the Midwesternia government's prior existence, its currency, military, and civil and legal intrastructure. And having established those things, that the nation of Midwesternia was known or recognized by any other nation to have existed.

The bottom line is that the Arab is no more or less Palestinian than the Jew who never left it, or inhabit it today. After multiple sovereignty changes, it is now Israeli. The Jew's claim to the land is as valid than the Arab who colonized it in the 7th century, and now attempt to reclaim with sleight of hand today.

That’s not exactly true.
It’s written before the Gog/MayGog war that Israel is living in peace and a massive attack catches them completely by surprise because they are living in peace and G-d himself smashes the attack. The result is Israel burns the weapons of their enemies for 7 years. For that to happen Israel must first experience a period of peace.

Edit: forgot the footnote. My bad.

Don’t forget the Chapter before that footnote.

In 1987 around the time of the charity Mujama being reformed into militant Hamas, there were about 525K Arabs in Gaza. And prior to the current war, there were 2.23 million??

Israel is easily the most amateurish genocide regime in history.

“Can these dry bones live?”
That dun happened

Edit: we be smack dab in da middle of sumthin.

Palms 102.

But you, O Lord, are enthroned forever;
you are remembered throughout all generations.
13 You will arise and have pity on Zion;
it is the time to favor her;
the appointed time has come.
14 For your servants hold her stones dear
and have pity on her dust.
15 Nations will fear the name of the Lord,
and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16 For when the Lord builds up Zion;
he shall appear in his glory;
17 he regards the prayer of the destitute
and does not despise their prayer.
18 Let this be recorded for a generation to come,
so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
19 that he looked down from his holy height;
from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
20 to hear the groans of the prisoners,
to set free those who were doomed to die,
21 that they may declare in Zion the name of the Lord,
and in Jerusalem his praise,

Just saying

Honestly, I love the history, but it is near meaningless when determining current ownership.

I mean, unless the Yankees wanna give me back the plantation in central Virginia that they seized from my family in 1865, then maybe I will be all about using past boundaries as current property lines.

You're right, when I say no lasting peace, it will not be until Christ comes back. I know there is a time of false peace but it will not last until Christ returns

Yet, the world still wonders why Israel isn’t rushing to sign a peace deal with these guys who still hold hostages…

Quick survey.

How many of you were aware that there are restaurants that are currently open and operating in Gaza?
