And I'll counter your goofy argument that a Service Academy graduation speaker should focus in on the tasks ahead of these men and women that will be leaders in a service that protects the United States. Focus on an honored service that can trace its lineage back over 200 years of serving this nation and its lifesaving capacity.

But no, let's talk climate change instead. Something these leaders won't be facing in their day to day duties. He should be pumping them up about the challenges they will face and how he, and the entire nation, has the utmost confidence in their abilities to keep them safe at night.

But let's talk climate change in a completely inappropriate situation.
