I think they'll give him the chance to fire some assistants first.

pretty much every one of them save for Elder and Gillespie have a good shot at being canned

It's NOT just CBJ and staff my friends.

It's the entire Tennessee administration from AD Hart on up that need to go.

Govenor Haslam and his rich daddy need to take the lead on this and fire the entire UT administration from AD Hart on up!

The admin of Tennessee needs to understand that all sports for our Vols damn sure DOES mean a lot to UT and everyone else and not being a top 10 team in any sport is NOT acceptable.

It's time to totally clean house.

Bad thing is that our AD is basically broke despite what many on here believe because former AD Hamilton almost bankrupted us and it's going to take years to get back in decent financial shape.

That's step 1 and step 2 is to hope and pray that our biggest $$$$ donors are willing to put up many Millions of $$$$$ to buy us out of this hole.

Other than that miracle we have no way out of this crap until the end of next season at the earliest.

AD Hart needs to be the very 1st to go because he won't fire CBJ without being forced to do it and we can NOT trust him to hire anymore coaches for any sport.

Our next HC has to be a great coach and a great recruiter because without top recruiting classes we'll never climb back out of this hole and that's going to cost us BIG $$$$!

I think it's going to take both Haslams and their $$$ jumping on this hot and heavy to get the right things moving fast enough.

Simply stated my friends...We need a miracle and fast!

Let the praying begin.

No chance at all, but it won't be because VN posters will stop calling for a head coaching change, if the fans are going to be miserable Jones must be made to be miserable as well, as 3.5 million/yr can be, right

None at all. As others have stated this isnt just a Butch Jones problem its a Dave Hart problem. Until he is gone, you can pencil in Jones as being the coach. It wouldnt matter if we lose 6 or 10 games. Butch is here for a minimum of 2 more years. We just have to accept it and try to deal with being the laughingstock of the SEC.

The losing mentality has to leave the locker room. If players don't believe they can win simply put they won't. This garbage started with Dooley and we finally will be rid of it after this season.

I can give you millions of reasons why not. They are all green and called a buyout.
Also we need one more recruiting class from him but that mAy be going away with this lack of closing teams out and blowing big leads.

No, but there are some serious rumblings among boosters about getting Hart out. Hart should go first, between hiring CBJ in the first place and being stupid enough to extend his contract when he hasn't proven anything was beyond ridiculous. When the opportunity comes to replace the current coach, a new strong minded AD needs to make that choice.
