Is there REALLY any chance that a move is made?

Does anyone think it could happen at the end of this year? I am not supporting Butch but if they will not make a move then I will still support this TEAM. If money is the issue then by not supporting them the money problem gets worse. And this brutal cycle goes on and on.

The cycle goes on either way. Do you really trust Hart to hire the next coach?

I really feel like if attendance drops and the athletic department sees their golden goose called "Nike Merchandise" take a hit in sales, things could be set in motion.

But it's more likely that we'll see Hart & Co. force some changes in the "Best Coaching Staff in America". Butch's free reign and buddy system are going to come to an end and it can't come a second too soon.

This hire was crucial to the survival of the program. The AD was sold snake oil by a solid salesman. There is no way out of this one.

If Hart fires Jones then he is effectively firing himself as well after giving him that idiotic extension.

Hart has to be praying for 6-6 so DiPietro can do another lame bowl video.

When it gets to that point Hart is not making that call. If he does its by force and he is not involved in the next decision either.

Time to start a petition...... No I'm not joking eithier.

With the talent we have a 2-5 start is unacceptable and most likely heading to a 5-7 season in year 3 at TN is unacceptable.

Start the Petition. Then if they charge 5$ extra per ticket we would pull in over 500k a game to pay off that ridiculous buyout for our loser of a coach.

Zero chance! Sometimes you have to be willing to make the hard choices and cut ties! USC did it to Kiffin! Nebraska did it to Pellini!

No, there's no chance Butch is out.

But if Debord isnt replaced, I wont watch another game until they fire Butch's a$$.

I bet Hart regularly shops at close out stores. I wished he was a smarter shopper for a head coach ... tired of replacing juke with juke. Does everyone see at pattern whether it is Hart, Chech or Hamilton?

Here's hoping the first move that's made is Fulmer and Majors staging a coup of Hart. I think that's what the handshake was about.

I think they just point Johnny at stuff nowadays...his "coup" days are long past.

What was idiotic about it?...market value for a SEC HC.

And Texas will with Strong at the end of the season. The Texas administration knows their fan base will not accept mediocre (at best) football. Neither should th Tennessee fan base. Of course Texas probably has the richest athletic department in the country, but Tennessee should find a way.

The only chance IMO that there is a change is if butch himself goes out and finds another place to coach.

Maybe the "scrutiny"(the only difference in leagues according to him) will be too much by years end and he bails.

No chance CBJ goes this year. Zero. Nada. Nein. None.

CBJ isn't firing DeBord or Jancek, either. You think he wants to bring in hot shot coordinators who'll challenge his system and want to change everything?
