It’s whining no matter how you justify it. Because things didn’t go how you thought they would you have a whole lot of hot air to release with your “opinions” and “statements” that don’t add any meaningful dialogue to the situation. News flash for you. We haven’t been good for a long long time. Doesn’t mean you give up on them, there’s a life lesson for you to learn out of this. Its nit whining. Its stating opinions and frustration with the continuance of oir once great football program being completely flushed down the toilet before our very eyes.
That 1 game was Georgia St. Maybe you should consider common sense. You don’t lose to Georgia St. First game of the year! The players have been waiting all summer to play the game they love! Where was the fire?? Where was the passion?? When you lack in those areas, all fingers point to preparation and coaching.Pruitt and co are not gonna be fired after the first game. Now if we go 2-10 or 0-12 then yeah he’s probably gone. But come on, show a little common sense. 1 game? Really?
Well hell let’s just close up the message board if you don’t want to hear whining after a loss to Georgia state. This wasn’t a fluke or luck, this was Tennessee getting their ass whipped by a 2-10 sunbelt team. Worse loss in modern history by this program but people are overreacting? Are you Fing serious?!It’s whining no matter how you justify it. What y’all aren’t understanding is I get what you are saying. But in a realistic world he won’t be fired. SHOULD BE fired but WONT BE. If you live life by the moto “if it gets tough just talk trash about it and quit.” I’d hate to be in your shoes. Almost as bad as a liberalWell hell let’s just close up the message board if you don’t want to hear whining after a loss to Georgia state. Definitely understand that. Not going to happen. If they cared about getting the football program back on the right track, it would have never derailedWhat y’all aren’t understanding is I get what you are saying. This is the way I see it. We’re still capable of bringing in top 20 recruiting classes so they think they can just hire a mediocre coach and they come in and win. Eventually, the top 20 classes are going to come to an end and no coach will turn it around. They need to bring in the high profile coach while the T still halfway sells itself.See, now we’re on the same page![]()
I would agree with you 100%. It isn’t like we aren’t talented. Yes we have a lot of young talent and there is expected to be bumps and bruises along the way while they develop but the absolute lack of motivation isn’t on the players. The coaching staff did not do anything to ignite this defense or offense in any way for that matter. Once Ga St realized they could run the option we never made an adjustment and it was ballgame after that. That’s bad coaching, not necessarily bad on the players if they aren’t put in a position to make a play from the get go.This is the way I see it.
