Is the program done for good

What “top guy”? Seriously? Do you think anyone who has any prospect of being a head coach would want to come in here? There aren’t guys beating down the door. There’s not even semi-decent assistants beating down the door because they know they can’t turn chicken **** into chicken salad and they don’t want to deal with a demanding fan base. UT is done until we can get an alumni to come in a perform a miracle resuscitation to the program that apparently no players give 2 ****s about.

We were very serious contenders for big time recruits like Jarret, Smalls, Sewell, Gilbert and Washington. Well that is over. No way we land another big time recruit. As a matter of fact, I fully expect quite a few decommits.

And with modern college ball the way it is, we also lose some prized underclassmen. I don't think Wright/Morris and To'oto'o are going to throw away promising college careers with UT's continued marriage to mediocrity.

Yeah, sadly one good game tends to make our fanbase forget everything and we are back to being contenders....hope the majority of the fanbase doesnt underestimate this loss.

I didnt think of that. With the ease of transfers these days, they may very well find a program that actually cares about playing good football.

I think Pruitt should be featured on a new ATT commercial. “Just okay is not okay.”

Coach Pruitt how do you think the team will do this season?”

“Uh, we will be okay.”

Georgia State has only been playing football since 2011. Let that sink in.

Yes, shutting our mouths is definitely the solution. One loss? You do realize we lost to probably one of the two easiest teams on our schedule? As far as soft, I’ve been a fan likely longer than you’ve been drawing breath.
Well opening your mouth sure isn’t changing anything is it?

No obviously you dont understand the magnitude of this loss.
I most certainly do. I’m more passionate about UT football than what seems to be most of you. I completely understand and side with you that it’s embarrassing and more than likely doesn’t bode well for our season. But complaining and whining has NEVER done anything to help a situation.

Its nit whining. Its stating opinions and frustration with the continuance of oir once great football program being completely flushed down the toilet before our very eyes.

He crushed it with what were effectively NFL-ready rosters.

Isn't that a clear indication of future success?

Those are good questions. Does NFL talent equal team success? What is NFL talent- is it based in recruiting? Development? Do players make it to the league because of their talent, coaching or some combination? More importantly though what does it tell us about the last 10 years at UT?

Next week's game against BYU is a must win game for UT and it will be interesting to see what attendance is like after the fiasco that occured today.
