I said this on another thread, i think the staff has moved on from these underachieving upperclassmen. They are gonna start focusing on our young hungry receivers that want it like JJ and Preston. I could care less about them as well at this point. Croom, North, even Pig doing nothing this year so far. Make room for the young guns, you saw what Preston is gonna be doing for the rest of the year in the 2nd half of WCU.
We have all sorts of talent at the WR position and all are underachieving. If it was just him, I would say it is a Croom problem. But, because it is not just him, I would have to say the problem is elsewhere.
Very true, the ENTIRE WR corps has to step it up and finally start producing! Although injured, Jason Croom has been a MAJOR disappointment. With his size and athleticism, he should be making corner end zone fades for TD's with EASE.
I miss the days of Chris Hannon, Meachem, Jayson Swain and Brett Smith....now those guys were the real deal!
I dont know guys, I am really starting to worry and wonder about this guy. He shows no flashes of being a superstar. Hell, he barely gets the ball thrown to him! This guy had the making of another Alshon Jeffery, but something has happened and its very alarming. Do they not know how to use him? Is he simply underachieving. This guy should be lighting up secondaries..that is the kind of expectations that comes with being a 5 star blue chip recruit! Hell, hes not even a poor man Robert Meachem at this point!
Am I being too harsh and rash, or do I have a valid point?
Stop making excuses for North and blaming the coaches for everything, he rarely gets separation from db's if you watch him during the game.
Was open for another Td Saturday but Dobbs gunned it over his head by 6 ft. He has been open several but Dobbs hasn't even looked his way. I am not sure the problem but we need to get the ball in the hands of our Wr's.
