I've always liked Jordan and the last thing he needs is you turning posters against him by making him a pawn in one of your narcissistic rants.

Ty is electric and it will be 'committee' running backs. Hence the "OR" . Jordan may be the bruiser, tough yards back and TC the the big yard specialist.

Tim Jordan also has speed. He's simply a better overall RB than Ty Chandler.

To me they are similar to Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams on those early 2000s Auburn teams.

Both are great runners. Tim Jordan is just the better overall player cause he can do everything Ty Chandler can do and then some.

I'm not here to placate others sensibilities.

If they wanna now hate on Tim Jordan cause I called his greatness before his first game as a true freshmen last year. Then so be it. I could care less. That sort of silliness is on them. Not me.

Which one are you comparing to Cadillac. Although both were great, I always felt Cadillac was the better RB of those two.

Ty Chandler is Cadillac. And although Cadillac had more success in college, Ronnie Brown went higher than him in the draft.

I always felt Ronnie Brown was better. Cadillac just had more college success cause defenders in college are smaller. Remember Cadillac got hurt pretty quickly in the NFL because of his slight build.

Similarly, I doubt Ty Chandler has much success in the NFL because of his wiry build.

You do realize we're talking about TN football, Vols not Titans. This means nobody gives a half gram of feces about your NFL projections. If we aren't discussing what they'll do wearing orange take it to the correct forum, which isn't this one.

In my opinion the best running back in the history of college football was Tony Dorsett. He never weighed more than a hundred and ninety-five pounds even into the pros

Well, it might be just a skosh unfair to Chandler to make that comparison but to your point yes, one doesn't have to be terribly big to be very successful. Charles White and Archie Griffin weren't big guys either.

OL averaged around 250 at the time too. Players are bigger, stronger, and faster now.

I agree that as whole , Ronnie Brown was better than Cadillac. Comparing our RBs to them is a bit of a stretch.

That might be the reason that the game has evolved away from the running game in general as the major offensive weapon. Merely making the package that you throw at the wall bigger does not mean the package will be more durable it will just make a bigger mess.
