It's NEVER ok to wish for my Vols to lose, NEVER!!!

I think most people on here are young and that most think with their emotions rather than with facts or logic.

Every smart person knew that when laMe kiffScum left, after he ran off so many schollie players, that our Tennessee football program was in total shambles and that it WOULD take at least 4 or 5 years just to get enough good recruits to come to Tennessee and learn enough to even be competitive at all with the top SEC teams.

There was nobody that wanted to play in the SEC and come to UT for that 4 to 5 year rebuilding chore except for CDD.

2 years ago the same top SEC teams flatout gave us a BLOWOUT and beat us to death.

Bama has had the number 1 ranked defense for 2 years in a row with their 3-4 D but shame on CDD for making the change to try and copy the same D that's been ranked number 1 for 2 straight years.

2 years ago our Vols had maybe 5 or 7 future NFL players on our roster but CDD now has 18 to 20 future NFL players on our roster in ONLY his 2 recruiting classes but Bama probably has 60 or more future NFL players on their roster and UGA, Fla and USCe probably has 40 to 50 and MSU probably has 35 to 40 future NFL players on their rosters.

Last year we couldn't run the ball against anyone and CDD said he'd fix that and he DID even though all the experts on here said all our O linemen and RB's flatout sucked and that we needed real SEC type O linemen and RB's but the experts on here were WRONG about our players and CDD and staff.

All smart people KNOW that it takes 2 YEARS to get the 3-4 D down so it's played right on most every play and most everyone loved CSS all summer and raved about him as a great coach but now he's total garbage and is the worst D coach ever but maybe all the experts on here are WRONG again like they were about our O linemen and our RB's.

The last 2 games our starting and best RB was hurt and didn't even suit up but we DID run the ball well against 2 of the top 9 defenses in the country but CDD and this staff totally suck and know nothing about football.

We now have more that DOUBLE the number of future NFL players on our roster then we had when CDD got here and we HAVE been competitive against everyone except Bama and not getting totally blown out except to Bama.

If our Defense had stopped even 3 to 5 big plays in each game against Fla, UGA, MSU and USCe then we would be here today as a 1 loss team, ranked in the top 10 and already the Winner of the SEC East and CDD would be trying to figure out how to beat Bama in the SEC Championship game.

When CDD got here we had NCAA violations hanging over our head and our program was 1 of the worst in the country and it took 2 recruiting classes to even get close to having all our scholarships filled finally.

CDD didn't pick Bray, he was stuck with Bray with no other real options to replace him at QB and I think Bray has taken advantage of knowing he couldn't be replaced and called long passes himself on alot of the 3rd and short plays because he wanted to throw long passes and try to make himself look better to NFL scouts.

We are so incredibly close to being a top 10 team with only 2 recruiting classes that CDD brought in that it's amazing to people that really know college football but most on here will never admit they were wrong about anything or how close CDD has us already.

They refuse to see any progress at all even when it's right in front of their eyes on our player roster.

Only 18 to 20 future NFL players will never beat teams with 40 to 60 NFL players on their roster especially when most of our future NFL players are still young and inexperienced and are playing against mostly Juniors and Seniors.

Fix our D and next season we could Win the SEC East or...we can start all over again with a new coaching staff, all new O and D systems to install and learn and accept another 4 years of totally rebuilding to recruit the kind of players the new coaches want so we can start winning well in another 2 or 3 or more years.

Precedent is what most top coaches look at....Giving CDD the chance to recruit only 2 of his own classes says UT won't keep their word and let a new HC have the time needed to get the type of players he needs for his type of O and D systems and in just 2 or 3 years when he's finally getting things close to where he wants then the fanbase will scream to fire him and will paint the rock for the whole world to see and will try to shame him and his coaching staff and call them failures and the worst coaches in America, ect, ect.

HOW does doing those nasty things make any good coach want to come to Tennessee and have to play the toughest teams in the nation in the SEC every year?

Hamilton couldn't get anyone except CDD to come to Tennessee and we're treating him like crap so HOW is AD Hart supposed to convince any really good Head Coach to come to Tennessee and risk their career and take the fan abuse?

Chip Kelly and his D coordinator are finally getting the Notre Dame Defense to gel and play really well but he's recruited and trained 3 of his recruiting classes and have taught their 3-4 D for 3 years now and it's finally coming together.

I have no idea if CDD and this staff can Win it all for us and I only want WINS and LOTS of them so I'll support whatever AD Hart decides to do but I also know that giving any HC only 2 of HIS own recruiting classes is not fair or what he was promised in his contract which IS why there's such a big buyout clause.

Firing CDD is a dangerous move BUT it might be the right thing to do.

It could also be a very dumb move if our next coaching staff can't recruit nationwide and it could set us back another 5 to 10 years.

I'll NEVER wish for my Vols to lose any game and I pray that whatever AD Hart decides to do will be the best for our program because I won't live another 10 years and I want to see another Crystal football coming to K town as badly as anyone here wants to see that.

I'll never bash or belittle CDD or anyone on this coaching staff because I CAN see improvements being made but if this staff is fired I'll simply say THANK YOU for trying your best and bringing in alot more future NFL players for my Vols to try and keep building on.

I only want to WIN again because losing and me just don't get along.

If you're saying the two options are:

a) beat Troy, go 7-5, and keep Dooley
b) lose to Troy, go 6-6, and replace Dooley with Gruden

I'm taking the second option by an enormous margin.

I'm not rooting for Tennessee to lose to Troy, though. Dooley's not going to be the coach next year, regardless of the result.

It's a little different in pro sports because it's harder to see the actual outcome in college sports. In the NFL, you know that losing gets you a higher draft pick. In this scenario, there's absolutely no guarantee that losing to Troy gets us Gruden. If I knew with complete certainty that a loss meant Gruden would be the new coach and a win meant Dooley returns, I'd root for Troy without a problem.

that's been said to me a couple of times, but when asked, nobody can even come up with a couple of things they disagree with me about.
What usually occurs is some dramatic, biased, bs slant of something that isn't even my opinion, as another poster did this morning by telling me I would need a kleenex to cry when DD is gone because it upsets me so.
If you disagree with me when analyzing a basketball or football game and the plays/players, you should probably just read and learn a little.

I've been calling out Fade from day 1.

He must hang out in the end zone because I don't know where else he could get those likes.

Never thought for an instance he was a Tennessee fan.
