Ok, this is funny. The barn animals have come to gloat.
Barn animals? See, this is what's humorous. Most of the Auburn fans that came on here actually BEGAN civil conversation, or at least attempted to, about the upcoming game. I have quite a few posts that were actually discussing what Tennessee might do to win the game.
Our offense and our schedule and our coaches were quickly dismissed, disrespected, and mocked. Of course we began trying to defend all of those things, but to no avail (which I understand, this is a Tennessee board).
And back on Friday we were actually invited to come back on Sunday and take our verbal beatings after we shamefully were run out of Neyland. So just because we actually won, we can't come back to see if anyone is man enough to say something as simple as "well, I guess we were wrong, your offense isn't so bad and you have a decent team"?
But nope, no one can admit anything like that, you have to go with "barn animals" and other "classy" ways to represent Tennessee. (by the way, I was born and raised in Atlanta, and I always find it so humorous when people from UT or Alabama try to put down Auburn, like everyone from Tennessee and north Alabama is so cultured and affluent...what a freaking joke  ).
Not here to gloat, just here to see the reaction, gather more evidence that supports what I learned last week about most you guys....that you're nothing other than Alabama fans dressed in an uglier color. No class, some kind of strange superiority complex, and ignorant to the bitter end.
Anyway, in spite of the childish name calling and the lack of being able to admit when your team was simply beat on the field, I still respect your program, your tradition, your history, etc.
Most of you fans....not so much.
I'm pretty sure the barn animals gloating comment was directed at the barn animal's (Auburn fan's) post below yours who was clearly gloating and not so much your own. Now that said I do give Auburn a lot credit and think they do have a much improved team from last year. I hope you guys have a great year and beat Bama. You shouldn't judge the UT fanbase from a few posts before a big game. Its SEC football, a little trash talking is to be expected.
1. Gene Chizik and Auburn, particularly Gus Malzahn, have blown Tennessee's highest paid coaching staff in the country out of the water this season in terms of performance.
Kiffin defenders scream, "Talent, talent, talent."
That's all well and good, but does anyone really think Auburn has more talent than Tennessee? Last year's Tennessee-Auburn game ended 14-12 and set back offensive football five decades. Now compare the two teams this year. Which looks different, which looks improved?
That's almost entirely a product of coaching, right?
In fact, this game was almost a perfect laboratory for coaching analysis. Compare the products on the field last night. Kiffin, who was supposedly an offensive guru at USC, has not improved Tennessee's offense. Chizik, under the direction of Gus Malzahn, has completely remade Auburn. They're now 5-0, loving football, and have completely bought in to what the coaching staff is selling.
Meanwhile, Kiffin and Tennessee are regressing offensively and defensively.

Sorry, to interrupt the convesation you are having with yourself, but to visit a team's board after your victory and bumping this thread is gloating.
okay jadennis, based on what I've seen the past five weeks AU's team is better than Ohio and Western KY and not quite as good as UCLA. Happy?
AUB will likely be 7-0 in a couple of weeks, after expected W's over Ark and UK. Then anything can happen down the streach. BCS?
I've stayed out of alot of the pre-game threads, but I am assuming that alot of posters thought that UTK would beat AU. I can assure you that some/many of us did not assume that the Vols' anemic offense would roll over a team that stomped Miss State and beat WVa by double digits.Sure, happy. Your in-depth analysis has me convinced.
By the way, I wasn't really interested in where we rank in the teams you've played. I was curious to know if anyone's mind had changed about what they thought of us going into the game verses their thoughts coming out of the game.

I hope you're right, but if our defensive line can't get pressure on Mallett with our front four, we'll have to score 50 to win. Of course, we may score 50, their defense isn't very good. But at the same time, I figure they are probably getting better after facing Georgia, Alabama, and even Texas A&M who had been racking up big yards prior to that game.
I'll also say I'm glad the Kentucky game is at home, they are a decent team and gave Alabama fits in the first quarter.
