Is Ainge OK?

yawning and disassociation are symptoms of opiate withdrawal (former fentanyl addict here), and i know he had the disease as well. i hope he didn’t relapse. his story helped me get clean.
Glad you are clean. But, falling off the wagon, isn't the end. If he has fallen, or if you ever fall, I pray that God give you the strength to pick yourself up, and get back on the wagon. Cheers!

Let's just remember one thing........he is a VFL. I pray that he is ok. If he isn't, I pray that he gets back on the wagon, and continues the fight.
Erik, we love you, and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
He’s not off the wagon... have you read the thread?

He posted it earlier. See page 3, #70. He said he’s taking some time off for himself and his family, and also, said there’s no truth to the rumor that Ainge is using drugs again and that’s why he’s not on the air

Yeah, I read that, a vague politicians response. As previously stated, EA is very open and sharing about his life. Vacations, sickness, etc. This time, he bails in the middle of a show and nothing. This is what leads to speculation, conspiracy theories, rumors and the like. Secrecy drives that. If he's dealing with mental health issues, say so, if it's depression, say so, if it's erectile dysfunction, say so, whatever. If you don't say what it is, then accept the speculation. If he'd always been private about his life away from the show, then people wouldn't really notice, however, that isn't the case.

Having said all that. I don't care what it is he's out for. I like the guy and I wish him and his family well in whatever it is.

The reason is bc it’s none of your business nor is it Brian’s place to air Ainges business. When EA wants you to know why he’s out or what’s he’s struggling with, HE will tell you or he won’t. Being on a radio show doesn’t void ones right to privacy

But why do you feel compelled to spill it on a message board? So people will think you have cred? That's what disgusts me.

Again I don't need internet cred. I'm not one of these looking for validation on the internet guys. I'm validated in real life. When I was called out on here about an incident that was dismissed in Murfreesboro in 2011 I owned up to it and told how I paid for it to disappear. When Tiny got caught with Marijuana he was called everything, but his name. When D-Block had his wreck it was immediately said he was an alcoholic was he drunk, Eric G had an issue with Butch/Martinez I spoke on mental health issues ppl made fun. I spoke on a real life situation and ppl talking about slander, defamation, etc. Ppl I don't care what you think of me. None of yawl pay me. I don't pump sunshine. I kp it real. I posted this in a VFL chat/ group text and guys laughed and said Juan ignore those idiots who want to argue. You didn't say anything wrong or named what he takes. Then on top of that said like we said we're all praying for him. Just move on and ignore them sensitive ppl.

That's strange. They want me to know all about their personal life when it sells a product for a sponsor.

Man, some of you guys are brutal. Why not just pray for the man and offer some encouragement regardless. Every one of us have a struggle of some kind. EA, and every other man who has chosen to suit up for UT is a Vol for Life, not a Vol for now, but only until you screw up or do something I don't like. Geez.

Check my background and know I don't cm with fake sources or fake info. Former players also discussing this and said its true as well as a booster. No who you're talking to before you talk about a ban ask around I've never posted a rumor or false info. You blocking me doesn't bother me either.

And learn how to spell. Your credibility is completely shaken. Either you can't type or can't spell. Either or I don't hold anything you say to be truth!

Thank you for clearing up your opinion, not that I give a flying f about it. On the other hand, I have an interest in EA. I like the show with him, without him it isn't anything I'd care to listen to every day. I also like the man himself and because of that I'd like to know his issue. Does that mean I will? Maybe, maybe not. Why do we want to know? For the majority, it's because we want to know he's ok. We know he's had struggles in many areas. Some want to offer prayers, others support, and others just to let him know he matters more than just someone we listen to on the radio.

Now, as to whether we are entitled to knowing. Reality is, they are employed because we are invested in their show, which includes their personalities, opinions and what they share and discuss. They share their personal lives on the air. They talk about their activities, problems, addictions, health issues and more in addition to sports talk. They are celebrities, albeit mostly local types, and being a celebrity does infringe upon their privacy at times. If you were sick, addicted, whatever, I wouldn't give a **** about it. In Eric's case, I would like to know what's going on. It doesn't mean I am entitled to know if he doesn't share. I am, though, allowed to speculate and discuss, listen to rumor, etc.

You typed a lot of words. You could’ve just condensed it to “I like gossip.”
