Glad you are clean. But, falling off the wagon, isn't the end. If he has fallen, or if you ever fall, I pray that God give you the strength to pick yourself up, and get back on the wagon. Cheers!yawning and disassociation are symptoms of opiate withdrawal (former fentanyl addict here), and i know he had the disease as well. i hope he didn’t relapse. his story helped me get clean.
He posted it earlier. See page 3, #70. He said he’s taking some time off for himself and his family, and also, said there’s no truth to the rumor that Ainge is using drugs again and that’s why he’s not on the air
The reason is bc it’s none of your business nor is it Brian’s place to air Ainges business. When EA wants you to know why he’s out or what’s he’s struggling with, HE will tell you or he won’t. Being on a radio show doesn’t void ones right to privacyYeah, I read that, a vague politicians response. As previously stated, EA is very open and sharing about his life. Vacations, sickness, etc. This time, he bails in the middle of a show and nothing. This is what leads to speculation, conspiracy theories, rumors and the like. Secrecy drives that. If he's dealing with mental health issues, say so, if it's depression, say so, if it's erectile dysfunction, say so, whatever. If you don't say what it is, then accept the speculation. If he'd always been private about his life away from the show, then people wouldn't really notice, however, that isn't the case.
Having said all that. I don't care what it is he's out for. I like the guy and I wish him and his family well in whatever it is.
But why do you feel compelled to spill it on a message board? So people will think you have cred? That's what disgusts me.
That's strange. They want me to know all about their personal life when it sells a product for a sponsor. The reason is bc it’s none of your business nor is it Brian’s place to air Ainges business. Check my background and know I don't cm with fake sources or fake info. Former players also discussing this and said its true as well as a booster. No who you're talking to before you talk about a ban ask around I've never posted a rumor or false info. You blocking me doesn't bother me either.

Too long, didn’t read, don’t care. It’s none of your business /threadThank you for clearing up your opinion, not that I give a flying f about it. On the other hand, I have an interest in EA. I like the show with him, without him it isn't anything I'd care to listen to every day. I also like the man himself and because of that I'd like to know his issue. Does that mean I will? Maybe, maybe not. Why do we want to know? For the majority, it's because we want to know he's ok. We know he's had struggles in many areas. Some want to offer prayers, others support, and others just to let him know he matters more than just someone we listen to on the radio.
Now, as to whether we are entitled to knowing. Reality is, they are employed because we are invested in their show, which includes their personalities, opinions and what they share and discuss. They share their personal lives on the air. They talk about their activities, problems, addictions, health issues and more in addition to sports talk. They are celebrities, albeit mostly local types, and being a celebrity does infringe upon their privacy at times. If you were sick, addicted, whatever, I wouldn't give a **** about it. In Eric's case, I would like to know what's going on. It doesn't mean I am entitled to know if he doesn't share. I am, though, allowed to speculate and discuss, listen to rumor, etc.
You typed a lot of words. You could’ve just condensed it to “I like gossip.”Thank you for clearing up your opinion, not that I give a flying f about it. On the other hand, I have an interest in EA.
