Iran

So you think America is losing this war?
"Losing" is subjective.

Militarily? No. Will Iran military defeat the US military? No.

Will Trump get what he wants from Iran in a reasonable timeframe? Also no. At some point I think pressure from within and from other countries will have Trump cave in to some of Iran's demands. And then he will make out like it's the greatest deal in the history of the world. Iran doesn't need their military to "win the war". They only have to cause enough worldwide pain for Trump to give up.

Will Trump's war with Iran be good in the longterm? Probably not.

They've (DOD) already released a report. 20 billion give or take. I saw it early..

This includes spent munitions which comprises of about 70 percent of cost here.

Is it a waste? Yes.

I would have just kept assassinating leader after leader and stayed out of the straight and I would have done it covertly.

Their navy is gone and they are in compliment chaos but like Afghan (not in the ME but crazy) you cannot desl with radicals so they just keep coming.

The only way to solve this is to have China in the talks and to control them. Without China, Iran is gone in 5 minutes.

The House has now passed a war powers limiting act also the Senate apparently did one in May. No combined act yet and there isn’t a veto proof majority.

Its cover for GOP members who need to distance themselves from Trump in October.

Well, in fairness, this was a totally unpredictable move by the Iranians.

And I'm sure Trump will soon explain that he was warned about it by his team and its not their fault he has so badly underestimated Iran.

No it’s actually a political play for Dems to get GOP on the record sanctioning a very unpopular war. Only five crossed over and a couple are gone after this term anyway. Massie for example. It can be both but it’s largely Dem campaign fodder
