Iran

I think its Kushner who drives most of it. He's the dude working for the White House who couldnt even get a security clearance.. I think its crazy that my security clearance is higher than people negotiating on behalf of the USA..

Whatever the explanation is, is not good. Pick (at least) one MAGA:

- Trump is just really this stupid
- Trump has no grasp on reality
- Trump is selling us out for $
- Trump is effectively controlled by Kushner types
- Trump is being blackmailed

If Iran had any more cards to play they certainly would. It is just tying up some loose ends and house cleaning now. It's all over except the crying, mostly by the lefties and the doomers.
They hold the most powerful card imaginable. The American publics weariness of perpetual forever wars. Not to mention strangulation of regional and world economies.

There is no winner we are all losing.

We are most definitely winning. No two ways about it. If a couple months is a forever war to the average American then our attention span has gotten to that of house fly. To the libs and the Doomers it is, but they were saying that after the first day. Most Americans are smarter than that, I used to think a lot more, but it is still the majority.

We have been in conflict ad nauseum for the past 30+ years, this is just the newest chapter. Trump has little support, even less now.

A couple of months down the road ours, as well as the rest of the world's position is worse than when it started. Economies are being strangled, ours included. The lifeblood of our economy isn't pumping. Something has to change soon. We know it, Iran knows it, the world knows it.

If that's winning ................

I’m not one to tell grown adults what to do, but imagine a world where everyone just stopped responding to one poster and removed all the oxygen. Let that ****ing nitwit talk to themselves. Also…I’ve been guilty of it too.

You realize that the U.S. has been at constant war its entirety, right? Our history is one great big war. The last time there was an extended period without a conflict was in the 19th century. Peace time is a myth.

And never has America been so tired of it.

Also I'd have to look it up but some if those "wars" were limited involvement. Also the act of carrying out war has gotten ever so much more expensive for us to prosecute while our adversaries spend much less and often fight us into a bog of attrition.

Have you not been paying attention to what's been going on for decades? The last time we got our enemy to spend their regular army was Korea and Vietnam. You could probably count Russia in that as well in Ukraine.

In fairness, though, exponentially less costly in American soldier casualties. Personally, I would rather spend money on modern weaponry than lose troops (when war is needed).

The problem is the military industrial complex (which Eisenhower totally warned us about and here we are 70 years later) is powerful encourager of war and dying troops are a discourager, ipso facto, we end up with more war (when it is not needed)

Agree 100%. But we had no problem sending troops to die in needless wars, either.

It's getting harder and harder to shake the allegations that he's a pawn for Netanyahu. 85% of Americans agree on almost nothing, and they definitely don't agree on the war with Iran. The guy is living in his own reality, or just pretending to so that Mossad doesn't release video of him with underage girls.

lol the Jews control Trump wasn’t far enough for Huff. Had to add in wild conspiracies that Epstein was a Mossad agent and that Trump is a pedophile too.

What a wild alternate reality you live in

Actually, it seems like we had a big problem, right? Vietnam was the last war where we sent soldiers to die in massive numbers, and it was far more hotly contested domestically than any of these modern wars. We didn't have a pointless war for 25+ years after Vietnam, and we're on pointless war #3 of the last 25 years now.
