So we let Iran beef up its conventional arsenal, develop a nuke and then they can bully everyone in the region, including controlling the Strait of Hormuz. No, I don't think we can stand by and let that happen

They've been two weeks away since before I was born, I think it's safe to say they aren't developing one for a while.
Again, why the hell should we care? We let Germany do it before. Nothing bad occurred to the US until they got to aggressive. Instead of looking for a fight, we should let it come too us.

In hindsight many have said that we were too complacent and should have joined WW II sooner than we did. This decision caused a lot more Jewish deaths among other things. Do you disagree?
