Iran

Your data showing the increase isn’t restricted to NYC. NYC has decreased in population since the pandemic. What you’re showing is the metro area that includes places in Pennsylvania for example.
NYC metro is NYC, unless you think Jacksonville and Memphis are bigger cities than Atlanta. The "city" population has been increasing as well just like I said. The unhappiness fantasy is such a weird one

The city population is below its pre-pandemic levels

The issue with including the full “metro” population is that you now intentionally include multiple states mat of which have significantly different polices than those that drive people from NYC

A population drop during a global pandemic followed by continuous growth since, with the metro area growing the entire time, is not "people are leaving in literal droves" haha

Conflation is an art form for those who refuse to look at the actual facts....those "fantasy of NYC unhappiness" also includes every poll showing how NYC residents feel about the city's issues with illegals, crime, rats, high taxes, AS WELL AS the "fantasy" of NY being 49th in the country net migration with literally a loss of a 1 million people leaving last year, most coming down to better run red states

"A loss of 1 million people" 😂😂😂 just fantasizing, stop derailing the Iran thread

Rights are based on actions and behavior. So HELL NO--they do not have the right to a nuclear program that can produce weapons or dirty bomb material
.. According to your logic every country has that right. GEEEEZZ.
I said they have the right to a nuclear *program*.

Not the same as nuclear weapon development.

s of late 2023–2025 data, California, New York, and Illinois are experiencing the highest population losses in the U.S., driven by significant domestic out-migration due to high costs of living, taxes, and pandemic-era shifts. Other states with notable declines include Louisiana, Hawaii, West Virginia, and Oregon.
Forbes +3
Key States Losing Population (2023-2025 Trends)

  • California: Lost over 170,000 residents since 2020, with significant drops in net migration, particularly to states like Texas.
  • New York: Ranked as the fastest-shrinking state in some recent periods, losing 0.5% of its population in 2023.
  • Illinois: Consistently shows high domestic out-migration, placing it among the top states losing residents.
  • Louisiana & Hawaii: Experienced high percentage losses, influenced by economic factors and, in some cases, natural disasters or high cost of living.
Primary Drivers of Population Loss
  • Domestic Migration: Residents are leaving high-tax, high-cost-of-living states (e.g., CA, NY) for more affordable states like Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
  • Declining International Migration: A reduction in international arrivals to offset domestic departures has impacted California and New York.
  • Natural Decline: Some states are experiencing more deaths than births.

You do know that "New York", is both a state, and a city, right?

Oh we're back to talking about people leaving Syracuse because your NYC dying fantasy isn't going so well again? Shocking
I know reading is hard for the fake Dukie, but this was the post I said that you replied to....

and I was correct that it was nearly a million people fleeing NY last year

Which was the exact thing that I said.

You have no rebuttal for it because much like the thousands of new neighbors here in my current state from NY, including tons of former NYC Police, fire, union workers, families and businessmen, they couldn't wait to get out of that hellhole. We have more people from NY than any other state come here to finally live a great life.

First reply in the conversation, galaxy brain 😉 the only person trying to "conflate" with New York State has been you, repeatedly. You don't need to be insecure about me graduating from Duke, it doesn't make me better than you

Pretending again like NYC metro's population isn't growing each year, despite being shown otherwise several times. NYC "dying" is conservatives' favorite fairy tale

Do you believe a violent felon who has committed rape and f*cked a porn star while his wife was pregnant has a right to become President?
SO you avoided the question predictably and shifted to some other topic?

But yea charge him and throw him or her in jail if you prove they actually committed rape.

I don't care who ****s a porn star though
