Iran

So, just to get this straight, you are complaining about the chaos of the pullout that occurred in August, but would have rather Biden tried to adhere to the May 1st deadline set by Trump's Taliban deal, and have an even more chaotic exit?

You are far from having anything straight, which isn’t unexpected.

I have no idea what would have happened with the withdrawal had Trump still been in office, it would have probably gone just as bad. My point in this entire conversation was pointing out how you carry Bidens water. Once Biden deviated from Trumps plan and deal he owned it and its results, no one else can take the blame you tried to deflect from him. As I said earlier, had it gone great you’d have raced LG to get the first post in declaring how Biden saved the day.

interesting perpective. could never be proven, but it is plausible this action delays a CCP invasion of Taiwan. just never know geostrategic implications on the surface, good or bad.

I wouldnt support any Tawainese intervention, but talk about economic cataclysm. not sure how we avoid it.

You really believe this propaganda garbage? Iran has been “weeks away” for 40 years. Also, your lord and savior Donald Trump awhile back already said that we wiped out their nuclear capability, yet now this? So he lied? Unreal people believe this garbage
You lose all credibility when you make silly ass assumptions like this

Trump had already reduced US forces to half of what is needed to even run Bagram by the time Biden was inaugurated.

So there were three options

1. Adhere to Trumps time table and pull the troops out by May 1st and watch the Afghan government fall
2. Move the date and hope that the Afghan government doesn't collapse at the later date.
3. Send back in additional troops to effectively man Bagram and prop up the Afghan government.

There was no good decision to be made here, Trump made sure of that, and you crying crocodile tears about it won't change it.

You should never make another water carrying comment aimed at another poster……ever

  • Over two-thirds of China’s official imports from Venezuela are oil and oil-related products.[14] However, this is likely an underestimate because the vast majority of China’s oil imports from Venezuela are recorded as shipments from other countries, including Brazil and Malaysia.[15] Most China-Venezuela oil is traded in renminbi (RMB), but dollars and at least one dollar-backed stablecoin continue to be used to settle Venezuelan oil sales.[16]
