Iran

Give 24 hours of notice to the Iranian Citizens for safe evacuation and then flatten any and every IRGC base/housing/territory throughout Iran.
Turn Tehran into a wasteland and end this. Continuing this does no good for anyone but Iran; erasing the IRGC from existence serves the greater good of mankind.
Seriously, are you seven?

Was Iran launching missiles at 3rd party countries before being attacked by Israel and the United States?

We have the most advanced intelligence gathering systems ever devised, and you don't think that we didn't know that this would happen once we started bombing them?
As usual you don’t address the issue. Iran’s response is irrational and reckless, but it’s because of the USA

So let me see if I understand what you’re saying….. Iran is launching missiles on countries that have no US interests because the US and Israel attacked them….. and not because of their own irrational decisions…. And Iran isn’t responsible

Sounds like typical liberal logic
Make it make sense.

They also blame Israel for retaliating after Palestinians massacred, raped and kidnapped Israelis on October 7.

So if a country was using bases it had it in canada to attack us you wouldn't consider Canada a legit target for the US? Bc I'd say blow the whole country off the map
I’m referring to Azerbaijan, which has no US bases. Countries that have bases are fair game if you’re firing at the bases themselves

Kremlin says strikes near Iran’s Bushehr plant are dangerous

The Kremlin said on Monday that US-Israeli strikes near Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant are extremely dangerous.
Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said such attacks could have “irreparable consequences” and that Russia had conveyed its concerns to the United States.

AI Overview

As of early 2026, Russia has intensified systematic missile and drone strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, creating severe power shortfalls and damaging critical, aging, and often irreplaceable, power plants and transmission lines
. These attacks, targeting thermal, hydroelectric, and nuclear infrastructure, have caused mass blackouts and heating failures during freezing winter temperatures, reducing Ukraine’s generation capacity to roughly one-third of its pre-war level.

Impact on Ukrainian Power System (2025–2026)
  • Widespread Destruction: In 2025, Russia carried out 612 combined attacks on energy facilities, including 11 hydroelectric plants and 45 heat and power plants.
  • Capacity Loss: By early 2026, Ukraine faces a 5-6 gigawatt shortfall, severely reducing capacity.
  • Infrastructure Attacks: Russia has repeatedly attacked infrastructure connected to Western Ukraine's nuclear plants, forcing them to reduce output.
  • Winter Crisis: Strikes often target power infrastructure, including during -20°C temperatures, causing massive, ongoing blackouts and impacting heating for millions.

You may be a little mental if you think we are losing anything. If they wanted the conflict to end tomorrow it would.
We are far superior to any Nation on this planet.. I don't support this mess; but acting like we are being defeated is far from the truth...
We haven't even ramped up the attack... Maybe you should let ChatGPT continue to produce your replies.

What I have an issue with is the lack of clarity for an end goal. What's a victory look like for the U.S.?
There is no end goal. Trump has no idea what he wants to achieve. If Iranians wanted to install a new government, they would. Sure thousands do, but the vast majority are happy to follow whatever ayatolloh is currently in charge.

"...Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, meanwhile, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that “sometimes you have to escalate to de-escalate.” His comment struck chilling parallels with modern US conflicts, from Vietnam to Iraq, that started small but degenerated into vast and losing wars of attrition.

The administration’s rhetoric of expansion also offered a political opening to Democrats on a day when a CBS News/YouGov poll showed that nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe the war is going badly."

What are the chances that if Trump is looking to nuke Iran that Vance and some in the cabinet try to 25th him? Vance had been eerily quiet.
It's public knowledge that Vance has not wholly agreed with the Iran war since the beginning. He likely recognizes that it represents everything that the MAGA base opposes regarding "no new wars" and isolationism.

He's doing his best to be perceived as the best viable 2028 presidential candidate for MAGA. Makes for a sticky wicket with his boss though. Of note, and I had to look this up, Trump cannot fire the vice president.

I sort of half expect for Iranian soldiers on Kharg island to wake up one morning to Marines or Seals at their breakfast table.
A lot of our soldiers would die if we invade Kharg. Don't kid yourself. The Iranians aren't dumb, and that island is likely heavily fortified with important civilian and military locations intertwined.

If we want to "take" Kharg, my guess is we'd basically first have to bomb the living pajesus out of it - destroying most of its civilian infrastructure - which would effectively end Iranian oil exports for potentially years. Is this really what Trump wants?

Trump said no new wars. Trump said we should avoid Middle East conflicts. He better live up to his supposed pacifism with no boots on the ground.

Donnie, just stop. Negotiate a new JCPOA and quit while you're ahead.
