There are only two coasts we could be invaded from, let's play insane and consider they could make landfall........ Then what? They would have to face the most powerful standing army in the world supported by the most powerful and experienced air force in the world. Not to mention the most armed citizenry in the world.

I think you should study how difficult sea to land invasions are to carry out......... And we would know they are being staged at least a month in advance.

It's just plain silly to consider that as a possibility.
