Iran

Lol you really tried to pin me down didn’t you? Nice try, I guess you missed the “whatever floats your boat” part. I’ll decode that for you, I’m not terribly concerned in hearing about your vendetta dreams against past D presidents.
Yeah, it was pretty clear. As long as there is a D beside there name, it really doesn't matter to you what they do. Thats the definition of hypocrisy. Your vendetta against Trump really doesn't interest me either. Again, hypocrisy is a staple of you leftist.

I hope you feel better. Now, there’s probably a bush light with your name on it broseph.

Smokey just went full Marco 😅

That's right, I forgot. One of the rules of engagement in WWII was that we didn't kill German who wasn't a card carrying Nazi. Besides other countries don't kill any of our soldiers who disagree with the administration or cause any collateral damage. Those girls were there for a reason. Just the same as when they put children's hospitals on the top floor of military bulidings.
Let's not pretend that the existential contest our fathers and grandfathers fought bears any analogy to whatever the hell this not-a-war is supposed to be.

The premise of the article in SA is wrong. In conflict, children can be sufficiently equipped to be lethal.

But bombing a school, even accidentally, is unconscionable
My question is…knowing you’re under attack and facing constant air strikes, why would your schools (govt) that would be in close proximity to potential targets be open in the first place? Why would you even send your kids to school (parents) with a war going on? It is horribly tragic, but are they being forced to attend by the regime? I mean, they’ve already killed tens of thousands of their own people recently during the protests. Is this intentional by the regime knowing an errant strike could play to their preferred propaganda?

This is where democrats open hatred of America becomes blatant.

You’re taking something that’s universal and pretending it’s somehow an American problem.
Because I love my children, I hold them to a higher standard. Because I love my country, I hold it to a higher standard.

That is my thought. If we were under attack, my kids wouldn’t be at school.

In your mind this is just the post of a man who wants to see his country do better? His two posts I responded to stated that “killing kids is our thing” and “collateral damage is our thing”.

His posts are blatantly anti American. Not sure how you can’t see.
Killing kids; it's sort of what we do.

The questions are fair. But the end result is the same. Iranian Parents (who probably don't want this war over there any more than american parents who don't won't their children going to war over there) having their kids killed because of a proximity to a strategic Target

The school was struck during the opening attack of the war

From the posts of his that I've read over the years, I do believe that @BeardedVol is a man who wants to see his country do better (even if his view of the good differs not infrequently - and sometimes considerably - from my own).

But I didn't have any posts of his in mind at all when I replied to you. I objected - and object - to the notion that seems to me implicit in the message of yours to which I replied and which I quote again below, namely, that it's unpatriotic to hold the country our fathers shed their blood to build to a standard higher than what prevails in the iniquitous world beyond her shores:

If I've misunderstood your meaning, I apologize and welcome correction.

My meaning is/was fully evident. Democrats (such as the one I quoted) will consistently speak about how horrific they find America to be, while acting like they have no clue why some accuse them of being openly anti-American. The post I referenced was an obvious example of that.

Did he post when the disastrous Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan blew up 13 Americans?

US government forced to be insurer of last resort due to an unintended consequence of a war they started. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

As Iran chokes Strait of Hormuz, US vows $20B for maritime reinsurance

So you are rooting for your team to lose? Sounds incredibly ignorant.

No matter what party you support, hope the best for your country.

We should have checks and balances but the democrat party is a dangerous lot, and I'm not talking about ill informed politicians. The central base of their voters are using Ilhan Omar talking points.

Pointing out and laughing at the US of A being morons isn't rooting for bad things to happen. I'd argue pretending these consequences aren't happening is far more dangerous for this country
