WWII didn’t have anything to do with Nuclear weapons, until it did.
We have been at war with the Iranian mullahs for over 40 years. We have every reason to keep them from increasing their power to destroy.

Setting aside the veracity of any part of it (you two can go on with that) the observation that this particular strike being about nuclear weapons (what you said) isn't particularly problematic with what he said about us being in a long state of low level war posture. Seriously, even if just for the sake of taking OT's argument as face value why wouldn't you consider the possibility of a country you're at war with gaining nuclear weapon capability an extreme threat?

And again I'm backing nothing here other than how the argument itself being couched by OT need not be contradictory.

Obama put a drone strike kill mission on an American citizen, and then 2 weeks later killed his 16 year old son, born in Denver, while he was at a coffee shop. I’d expect them to improve their defense systems when it couldn’t stop a fly last summer. They received s400’s from Russia in 2024 which obviously did not help. We should learn to stop starting wars off assumptions with no evidence
