Iran

What about Spanberger? By your rationale, Spanberger can’t be trusted at all but maybe Matt Gaetz could be trusted in between coke binges and DUI arrests?? Who decides which Republicans are trustworthy? Let us know all of this once you figure it out.
Again, none of this addresses what I said.

We had that already with Barack Obama. Didn't really bother me. Whether or not specific strikes are agreeable I don't think congress should be notified, debate, and vote on 90% of these things. Sometimes the window of opportunity is short-lived. I'm also not stupid enough to think I know all of the intelligence with these strikes as many on here think they do. We have too many people in congress who hate this country and want to destroy it to watch it burn. To hell with them.
@Majors ….speaking of being broken before breakfast.

Yeah. I said that. It’s right there. It is a joke to claim they can’t tell certain members of Congress when they couldn’t even maintain the most basic security. And no one’s broken. I still find you charming.
So you’re big mad the status quo was broken again. Sorry the Boss went with the motto “loose lips, sink ships.”

Best of luck with your stopping traffic this week. It’s a worthy cause.

Lol. He can tell whomever he wants to if he doesn’t violate the law. I’m not even making that claim. You get that right? Maybe I should appeal to your love of DT and say maybe he learned his lesson from the group chat.

Yes, you’ve been zig zagging most of the morning trying to come out ahead. It’s confusing being a liberal when terrorist are killed/crumbled. Good to see you appreciate “the law” in your new found rage.

I don't advocate full debate but I do think Congress needs to have a very select group of representatives who sign off on this kind of thing.

The document was written before this kind of military action and window could've been anticipated and written in. We need to have some slack AND I think most POTUS have consulted with Defense Commitees, perhaps Trump did also.

The idea is: we don't need to have an imperial Presidency. Eventually, we'll end up with a POTUS we're VERY VERY VERY uncomfortable with, worse than Obama was or HRC would've been.

Again, I support the spirit of the document: 3 branches, none too powerful, very limited vs states control of most things, etc.

Like clockwork.

Oppose war = anti-American, anti-semite, pick-your-low-IQ insult.

PS: if Iran has been "weeks away" from nukes for the past three decades...
Opposing war and leaking top secret military plans?

You were the same folks egging on a congressional investigation of accidental leaks on Signal. Pick a lane.

I think I’ve been pretty consistent in the opinion that Trumps leadership is in no position to drag anyone else about the ability to keep a secret. If that’s zig zagging then I’ll survive it. I have no doubt that if I were defending Trump I wouldn’t hear a peep from you.!

Not to mention Trump's own intelligence head is either totally incompetent (which I doubt) or is the one actually telling the truth about things while Trump blathers on like an unhinged moron while ordering strikes.
She's affirmed that her comments were quoted partially and out of context, and affirmed the intel that sparked this attack, no?

Well that's a dumb way to approach things. My child has more depth than that
Exactly.. things changed, and no doubt they got information that they are not going to tell us.. plus it may have been a time is of the essence type of thing.. whatever the case, if was something that needed to be done right then to protect the region, Europe, the U.S., then was what had to happen in that particular window of time.. the Iranians have proven that they cannot be trusted and everything they say is a lie.. so who really knows what they were planning on doing?

1000 meters underground is impressive. Did the workers drop the diggings down their pants legs as they left for the day?

Is there a debris field nearby? Seems like a lot of material to dispose of without drawing attention.

One would think we knew the depth and proper munitions to reach that depth.

Those B2 didn't fly alone, I'm sure. We don't know what jamming and defense tactics were used to make it look smooth, nor should we.

That's like saying look how easily and smoothly that celebrity walks into an event. There's a lot going on so this star or that politician can look relaxed while walking down a corridor into the stadium.

The news just shows them strolling in but there's more going on.

Israel has been flying over Iran without issue the entire time.

Yeah but I find it interesting since Iran HAS to have some advanced Russian/Chinese AA. 1980's tech still outsmarting the rest of the world apparently. Or their AA defense had/has been crippled. I remember when we rolled into Afghanistan back in 2001 we had dudes on the ground taking out radar sites to ensure they had a corridor with no radar coverage available to just fly in and out of. I also remember waking up to seeing taliban dudes in cages sitting on our flight line..none too happy :D

Israel took out their radars in October and finished off their air defenses a little over a week ago. Israel has had complete control of their airspace since the beginning of the war

And your response doesn’t address my question. If Congress in general and Dems in particular can’t be trusted….how can Gabbard be trusted? You know that members of Congress take the same oath that your trusted members of Trumps security team took…right before they accidentally included a reporter on a group chat. Has being washed in the blood of Trump made Tulsi more patriotic and less likely to commit treason?
Seeing the Dems turn on Tulsi is a pretty decent indicator that she's not one of their swamp creatures.
