Are you serious? North Korea isn't run by religious wackos like Iran.North Korea - which has nuclear weapons - could nuke S Korean or one of our bases there, but they haven't. How's a nuclear powered Iran different?
My opinion is Islamic republic reported that and is downplaying the damage done to save face and use it as a reason to not have a strong response. Maybe send a couple more volleys to Israel or “attack” a US base in the ME that misses and lands in an open area then claim victory. They’ve done the exact thing in the past with IsraelThat seems like a stupid thing to say. I'd act like the bombs destroyed absolutely everything.
Come on. It's all rubble and they have no clue depth of destruction. All assumptions
That may well be true.Going from memory the very first shots were from AH-64’s led in by MH-53 Pave Lows because they have better nav. They hit the centralized air defense RADAR network and comms. Then nearly simultaneously the Tomahawks hit.
I've followed this thread, and there has been a lot of "Trump will walk it back" rhetoric. Several think he's all talk.
Iran was enriching uranium towards weapon- grade potential. The entire civilized world believes that's a problem. They didn't comply with mandates, and we corrected them.
What exactly do some of y'all have s problem with?
Oh they absolutely were a part of it. The strikes were coordinated within seconds to obliterate their air defense and C&C network. Then they were blind and with their Soviet style central control doctrine they were paralyzed. That may well be true.
It’s reported/known that Tomahawks were certainly part of the opening strikes. The one time GreyWolf ever revealed anything operational (at all) was when he hinted that the Tomahawks went off first.
Even if the Apaches “struck” first, the Fast Attacks could have “fired” first - given the near simultaneous impact, and the further distance the Tomahawks would have covered![]()
Last post tonight about this.
Per BBC:
US President Donald Trump said Iran had a "maximum" of two weeks to avoid possible American air strikes, suggesting that he could take a decision before the 14-day deadline he set on Thursday.
"I'm giving them a period of time, and I would say two weeks would be the maximum," Trump told reporters.
The aim, he said, was to "see whether or not people come to their senses".
SPOILER: The aim is moot. Trump ain't gonna bomb nobody. Israel is basically on its own here.
