You keep focusing on this because you found one person (someone who has been tied to possible Russian influence several times) who said what you want to hear.

Why should we only focus on this one person and ignore the statements of both Iranian leadership and the UN? The obvious answer is we shouldn’t.

apparently the firing mechanism is very difficult as it has to trigger allthe explosive panels at exact same time..I learned that from that George Clooney movie where he tracks down rouge nukes by Serbian terrorists..good movie.

And that is why Trump will do it only if Israel is already basically mopping up their sure-fire win. Sure seems like the Israelis calculated that the Iranian regime would have collapsed by now, and for all we know they went after Khameni and missed. Either way it seems like they expected capitulation sooner and so now are ratcheting it up. To whatever degree Trump's messaging is getting through, it seems like it aimed as much at the Iranian people, trying to get them to overthrow the government, as much as it is at the current leadership, whose lives are collectively worth a nickel.

Another poster already posted a link between Iran sponsoring terrorist attacks in the US right up there^^^. Even if they had not, they are 100% THE financial backers of both Hamas and Hezbollah...and are 100% responsible for the the attacks in Israel on Oct. 7th and before as well as since. Now they are getting their just rewards for those despicable actions. You apparently see the attacks against Americans and attacks against Israelis as 2 different wars. I do not. I see one war. Love to see some of these folks here "loving their enemy" if it was their wife/kid/cousin/neighbor being beheaded on video by some camelhumper from the M.E. Its easy to say things like that...or quote scripture. Much harder where the rubber meets the road though in my experience.

I support Israel 100% and am happy that we are not the ones spending our blood and treasure to kill the muslim terrorists and their sponsors. I have been clear and consistent in my posts in this thread regarding not wanting us to get involved in offensive operations for a change. I am very happy that Israel is doing the heavy lifting this time. Hopefully they can also do the Iranian people a big favor and help usher in a new government that the people support. One that does not sponsor and create terrorists.

Not sure how using real world numbers of dead is nonsensical but ok. You're ok with govt killing millions of innocents as long as it some tale to defeat govt labeled terrorists while others are not.

And sorry but the us is not Israel. We have no duty to defend or fight for them. It's time we realize their interests are not necessarily aligned with ours

How about trust the Iranians when they declare a Jihad to exterminate the Jews and destroy America. No nukes for them. It’s funny all the affinity that the left has for calling people Nazis that they refuse to use such a categorization for the Iranians.

Oh no doubt, the "Its all about me and my influence" gambit was sure to surface. I just mean that he's not going to actually pull the trigger, so to speak, unless he can just claim some credit at the end and not have to deal with the whole "you got us into another war" thing.

You realize that deal was only for a small duration of time and would expire eventually. It was a bad deal letting Iran prosper and slowly move towards a Nuclear weapon.
