I'm not sure it could get much worse in how this one has supported terrorism around the world.

I'm sure there are people there that remember what it was like before this regime took over and would like to go back. Go look the videos and pictures you wouldn't be able to tell if it was 1970s Iran, Paris, London or New York. The women wearing miniskirts or bikinis at the beach like they were in Malibu or Miami.

...like I said, just like Israel has been doing since the British were kind enough to let them settle in Palestine post-WWI.

On-the-ground British soldiers got tired of Israel instigating conflict with local Arabs and running to hide while pointing fingers the other way. This isn't some made-up history, it's how the damn country was founded.

Iran doesn't really have any allies, particularly among their Gulf neighbors. China and Russia are interested in what goes on there, especially if the regime collapses, but I wouldn't call them allies of Iran.

I actually disagree that the current nature of alliances is like the early 1910s. I see it as actually a pretty simple system, although it is more complicated than it was in the immediate aftermath of the Cold War. The United States (plus its allies) is the clear global hegemon. Russia and China are regional hegemons, but they are not aligned with each other.

Iran is the largest sponsor of terrorist organizations on Earth. You dispute that?

So because the terrorists who actually conducted the 3 attacks werent born in Iran means that their groups/sponsors weren't paid for by Iran?

Is it just where a terrorist is born that matters?

Should we not try and root out ALL islamic terrorist organizations and their sponsors?

Do you know who actually financed and "radicalized" the terrorists involved in those 3 attacks on American soil?

I want them all dead. Every single jihad minded muslim on Earth. All of them. In every nation, on every continent, on this entire planet. Let them go hang out with their child molester prophet who married a 6yo girl...but waited til she was 9 to screw her. (Allegedly) Is that clear enough?

Luckily, Iran has few allies with any real power in the world except Russia and China who can't really start WWIII over Iran and who will screw with us anyway.

We can do as we wish in Iran, really, but I'm in the "sell the military equipment to Israel and let them do it" camp so we can also sell the military equipment to the Saudis to keep the balance in the region.

Israel and the Saudis know the game and have little use for a hot war when they can be the undercover badasses of the region.

I am convinced Trump is engaging in all this bluster in hopes that it causes Iran to change its mind and negotiate. Ergo everything being so public. "Evacuate Tehran." Leaving early to get to situation room. So publicly making it clear the assets we are moving there.

But he really doesn't want to do it because it is anathema to his isolationist campaign. He knows the criticism he would take from all sides and is just hoping Iran folds. If they don't, that is where it gets tricky. But in the end I think he does it only if Israel is the sure winner in this and he's backing the already-winning side.

Yes I dispute the label. In the past 25yrs who has caused the most innocent deaths in the world? The Saudis likely had more to do with 911 and have been horrible across the ME but people want to call them allies

You're attempting to tie unrelated events to this current mess with Iran which is nonsensical. You can just call Iran terrorists and then ascribe all terrorist acts in the world to them

I wasn't there then but how were things in the smaller cities and countryside? I know in a lot of countries, including the US, that people can let their hair down in the cities because of the anonymity there. Go to the village and it's conservative dress. Except for Bali long ago but that was an outlier and it's a shame it changed.
