I would think Israel has hit the most important fixed targets and now needs to spend time in the area looking for opportunities like missile launchers and evasive leaders. Also carrying really heavy bombs for underground targets requires refueling. Maybe we are just going to sell them a few tankers!

There's a lot of possibilities, could this be because foreign aircraft assets have been committed and we are countering?

Yep, latest bombing intelligence may suggest Israel did not destroy Iran’s nuclear program and the US could finish it off. Anything could happen.

They can get cheap oil elsewhere. Carrying a nation will cost them much more than they gain with cheaper oil.


Now, we can talk what it would look like to abandon an ally, but China is shrewd and they a few looming problems to navigate

Maybe, but they can deal with supply disruptions or pay a little more. If they want cheap oil at this point it causes them risk of direct conflict at worst or carrying a failing regime. Both are expensive.

That was a reply to what use Iran might be to PRC. I'm sure PRC is weighing their options and I doubt they'll be restocking Tehran's missiles.
