I wonder if Iran is increasing the volume sent per volly. Part of the reason the Israelis were so determined to wipe out Iranian AF leadership is that they worried the initial Iranian response would overwhelm their defenses. With AF leadership wipes out they belived the confusion would slow Iran

That's really Irans only hope if this thing goes past a month. Israeli estimates have Iran's ballistic missle stock pile to be between 2000-3000 They are launching 100 a day. Once they run out of those they have nothing to fight back with. And Russia can't help

well I hope Israel has enoigh interceptors, but seems unlikely..we probably dont even have that many SM-2, SM-6, THAAD and PAC-3s and you usually shoot 2 per target,

Good lord we better not be giving them SM-2 & SM-6… don’t make me break down the cost on those bad boys again. Gets my inner Jew all uppity.

Could be that. First wave was drones which the iron dome easily intercepted. Now they’re using ballistic missiles which I think is factoring into it as well

Israeli Senior officials revealed Iran was projected to have 8,000 ballistic missiles within two years if not stopped.

with drones, you can use fighters with AAMs and even much cheaper guided rockets, which is best cost effective way..you do have to maintain an array of fighters for CAP, but with Israel being so tiny and drones so slow, probably not too many aircraft..

counter drone warfare doesnt have a great solution yet..an enemy can send thousands upon thousands..would think you could zap their electronics.

maybe so. I don't know much about EMP's but that's what they keep telling us. I guess two problems:
1. Does it kill your own stuff, and
2. How many do you have to shoot?

I think Israel’s obviously going for a regime change and I’m not sure that’s possible without the help of the US. If it wasn’t their mission to have nukes and destroy Israel before it most definitely will be now if they stay in power

surely automomous drones rely on gps, so why cant you jam it?
for operator directed drones, jam the comm. idk.

good point..gotta track those mobile launchers though..we struggled in Gulf War, but better tech now and if anyone can do it Israel probably can..I imagine you use satellites or something like a J-Stars to sense the launches, but you gotta be fast to catch them before they shoot and scoot.

F-35s might be good to use as well.
