Iran

Last time this president talked about "choosing security" in this context he literally tried to ban all Muslims lol. People in this forum have often advocated for Zohran Mamdani to be deported or said he shouldn't be mayor because 9/11, that's not some violent Islamic fundamentalist it's just a Muslim
🐂 💩. The ban was on specific countries that were a hotbeds of terrorism. Keep lying about the lie. Joseph.

One of Trump's biggest accomplishment will not be the boarder, it will be changing the world order. We will no longer do the world's bidding, they will do ours.
🤪

Trump is kind of a "boarder" in the White House. "Grifter" more aptly defines his game, though.

You've got one seriously warped worldview, partner. Us doing the world's bidding😆😆😆.

I mean how about that whole "attack Iran" thing Israel had us do. I guess you're referring to Trump the puppet then.

That isn't much better, but he also said it himself, just couldn't deliver
On December 7, 2015, presidential candidate Donald Trump called for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on."

Well you can't really blame Trump for bowing the knee to Netanyahu. After all Bibi is the overlord of the world's finance and industry. He is also chairman of the board in the Illuminati. No one disputes that he is calling the shots, not just in Trump's case but he's calling the shots for every world leader.
Quit lying. It's 🐂 💩. If Netanyahu was wagging the dog, there never would have been any ceasefire and we would still be bombing away. And don't give me any of the garbage that Israel didn't honor the ceasefire because they kept at it with Hezbollah. The ceasefire was with IRAN and Israel has not touched Iran since the ceasefire.

Hmmm...

Somebody is lying. But which side... Hmmm?

Knowing what I know about Trump in that he lies every time he opens his mouth, does it make me "anti-American" to tend to believe the Iranians over us? Oh dear...

Four vessels traveled to and from Iran despite US blockade, Iranian media say

Iranian media outlets reported that four vessels transited waters near Iran on Wednesday, traveling to and from the country despite a US blockade that took effect Tuesday.

The vessels were the Greek-operated Agios Fanourios, the Chinese-operated Alicia and RHN, and the Iranian-flagged container ship Golbon, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim and Mehr news agencies.

US military: Blockade has "completely halted" Iran's sea trade

US Central Command said late Tuesday that the US “blockade of Iranian ports has been fully implemented” and it has “completely halted” Iran’s economic sea trade.

In a statement posted on X, Adm. Brad Cooper, the commander of CENTCOM, said, “In less than 36 hours since the blockade was implemented, U.S. forces have completely halted economic trade going in and out of Iran by sea.”

I don't care what he said, what did he do? Did he ban all muslims?
I never listen to what a politician says, I care about what they do.
Trump can say and Tweet whatever he wants and it means nothing to me, I know the language he uses is a real hang up for some of y'all but I could care less. I like most of what he does. That is what matters to me. I didn't vote for what he says.
If I give someone a task and they say "F' off," I really don't care as long as they get the job done. If someone else says "Yes sir, right away," and the don't do it, then I'll be pissed.
The typical politician says all the right words but it is 🐂 💩. Trump sometimes says the wrong thing, but he does the right.

Lol, because you're afraid of people in the US who make up less than 2% of the population "bringing violence and taking over the government" because you're afraid of their religion, but when it's your people doing the same thing, you have no problem with it.

Right-wing evangelicals have more in common with the taliban and other extremist muslims than they care to admit.
2% is a nice soft spin by you, 5M puts the number into perspective.

What is happening in the UK? Muslims are a small percentage of the UK's population too. Nothing going on in Dearborn or Minneapolis either, right? The Somalis aren't causing any trouble are they?

When this Iran thing is over you will be looking for a rock to crawl under or a hole in the ground to hide in. The libs and the doomers have gotten every single thing wrong for the past 20 years. The doesn't even rise to blind squirrel or broken clock level.
how does saying Iran nukes don't scare me make me a doomer? you are the one being chicken little.

what am I supposed to be hiding from?

I didn't say anything about you being scared, just wrong. Anyone who has no fear aka respect is a fool. You probably won't have to hide if you like the taste of crow. If that is the case, you can stay right at the table.

Iran as a nation as a fear doesn't even crack my top 10 of international concerns.

Us Iraqing/ISIS'ing Iran is much higher on my list of fears.

It’s for the Cuban people just like we are in Iran for the Iranian people

Gonna get ahead before trout and rlkberry try to say the Cuban people want this.

Both times I've been to Cuba, I can confidently say those people do not like Donald Trump.

You can buy "Lock Him Up" shirts all over Havana.

On Day 1, Rubio admitted we attacked Iran because we knew Israel was going to attack them.

So, yeah, the tail wagged the dog, broseph.

"Trump says"

Even worse IMO.

There isn’t a single universally agreed number, because it depends on what you count (e.g., “lies” vs. “false or misleading claims”) and which fact-checker you use. But we do have a well-known benchmark from The Washington Post Fact Checker:

Overall average (his presidency)

How it changed over time

Important context

  • Fact-checkers usually use the phrase “false or misleading claims” rather than “lies,” because proving intent (a true “lie”) is harder.
  • Different organizations (like PolitiFact, FactCheck.org, etc.) may count somewhat differently, but they broadly agree the volume was unusually high compared to past presidents.

Bottom line

  • A reasonable, widely cited figure is around 20–21 false or misleading claims per day on average, with much higher rates toward the end of his presidency.
If you want, I can compare that to other presidents or explain how fact-checkers decide what counts as a “false or misleading claim.”
