Iran

what? that is literally her job to be the public facing "mouth" of the white house so the president doesn't have to spend 10 hours a day answering to every inane question.

seriously, whats the point to the whole job if she is just speaking about her own personal beliefs?

As I said. It is the official word. I don’t follow your point

So we agree they were opposed to surrender. As far as honor, they committed worse atrocities than the Germans.

Thanks for making my argument.

They were defeated on multiple battle fields too and still fought to the last man. Like you said, their culture fully opposed surrender and saw it as an open embarrassment.

No you didn’t.

You stated both were unnecessary.

Good him. That doesn’t mean he was right.

To be clear you went even further than him and opposed both.

Weird because you just spent a lot of time telling me how much they opposed surrender and like I’ve pointed out even after two bombs when their leadership found out they were surrendering, they opposed it so fiercely they attempted a coup.

It took you long enough to finally discuss it. Next time spare us all the fake virtue routine.
Lol you are such a douchebag. I'll let Dwight know he doesn't hold a candle to the military expertise of Vol8188.

I’m also a bad ass. In case you were unaware. I’m kind of a big deal!
A “general” bad ass, at that.

I am just trying to figure out if that is “general” as in something that applies broadly or “General”, as in, Sir, yes Sir!

General or general. general/General? Now I am going to struggle sleeping tonight.

The Japanese pretty much fought to the last man on island after island in the Pacific campaign.

They withstood a campaign of firebombing that killed over 300k, 100k in one night in Tokyo.

Sure, I guess it’s possible they were primed to just roll over and surrender their homeland - the ultimate act of cowardice in their culture.

Residents of Nanking were not impressed with Japanese honor, nor were POWs.

Their last two soldiers surrendered in 1974.

I think part of the problem is history has forgotten the atrocities of the Japanese in WWII. They’re now seen as an ally and a nonaggressive people. As opposed to the group of people who arguably committed the absolute worst atrocities seen during that time.
