Iran

We’ve lost 13 soldiers in attacks and accidents since this began.
Any loss of life is sad and wasteful, but when you sign up you know that there is a chance you will be put in harms way. Please do not in any way take away the honor of the deceased, wounded and battle survivors. This country did that to my fellow brothers and sisters in arms and as a result they took away their justification for the horrible things they saw and endured and that triggered the destruction of way too many lives in a multitude of ways.

You support the president of the United States threatening genocide? Cursing and saying praise Allah on Easter morning?

I don't, and that does in fact cause rage with almost everyone not in the your cult.
Whoever wrote that tweet was trying to be sarcastic but since Allah means God in Arabic, no biggie there except for the attempt at denigrating Iranian people.

I’ve done no such thing.

You’re upset with our military force? Weird flex.
You seem confused that we had an American solider behind enemy lines and we got him out . Are you more of a Benghazi approach.
1- There’s no way you’re that stupid. You’re just disingenuous.
2- No one said anything about “being upset with our military force “.
3- what I took exception with was your dumbass Politburo use of the term “pretty easy”.

Fingers Crossed... I truly hope this is over for the well being of all parties. I support the safety of Israel; but if they break this, America should pull any and all assistance. If the other side breaks it... Israel and America should wipe them off the planet. I just want to go back to $2.19 gas and ICE/Radical Muslim threads.

Place your bets! What blatant lie will Donald concoct tonight for why he will NOT actually bomb Iran back "to the Stone Ages [sic]".

(3) “We already won. Nobody’s ever won like this. Frankly, we don’t even need to bomb. Iran is already very scared—very, very scared. People are saying they’ve never seen fear like this. So we won. Total victory. Huge.”
President Donald Trump said the US had won a “total and complete victory” after striking a two-week ceasefire deal with Iran.

“Total and complete victory. 100 percent. No question about it,” he said in an interview with AFP news agency Tuesday.

So here, apparently, are the details of what Trump is amenable to in terms of a LT agreement with Iran.

Iran:

Controls Hormuz
Has all sanctions lifted
Receives all frozen assets
Continues nuclear program
Receives reparations from US for war damages

Plus the US withdraws our military from the Middle East

And all this is binding via a UN Security Council resolution.

Trump called this a "complete and total victory" yesterday.

Trump (April 7, 2026):

“We received a 10-point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate… almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to.”

Iran’s **“10-point plan”** being discussed in current news (April 2026) refers to a **proposed ceasefire / peace framework** to end the ongoing conflict with the U.S. and its allies—not to be confused with older opposition plans for Iran’s future.

Here are the **main elements** reported from Iran’s proposal:

---

## 🧭 Key points in Iran’s 10-point peace plan

Across multiple credible reports, the plan includes demands like:

### 1. End of conflict

* A **full ceasefire** and permanent end to hostilities
* **Stop all attacks** on Iran and its regional allies ([The Guardian][1])

### 2. Sanctions relief

* **Lifting all U.S. sanctions** (both primary and secondary) ([The Guardian][1])

### 3. U.S. military withdrawal

* **Withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Middle East** ([The Guardian][1])

### 4. Strait of Hormuz control

* Iran keeps **control over the Strait of Hormuz**
* Shipping can resume, but under Iranian oversight ([The Wall Street Journal][2])

### 5. Frozen assets

* **Release of Iranian funds** held abroad ([The Guardian][1])

### 6. Binding international agreement

* A **UN Security Council resolution** to enforce the deal ([The Guardian][1])

### 7. Nuclear program

* Iran insists on the **right to continue uranium enrichment**
(this was reportedly omitted in some English summaries but present in Farsi versions) ([The Daily Beast][3])

### 8. Reparations

* **Compensation for war damages** from the U.S. ([The Wall Street Journal][2])

### 9. End to international pressure

* Removal of **UN and IAEA restrictions/resolutions** targeting Iran ([The Wall Street Journal][2])

### 10. Broader regional ceasefire

* Ceasefire extended to **regional conflicts** (e.g., involving allies like Hezbollah) ([The Wall Street Journal][2])

---

## 🧠 Big picture

* The plan is widely seen as **“maximalist”**—it asks for major concessions from the U.S. while preserving Iran’s strategic capabilities. ([The Guardian][4])
* U.S. officials (including President Trump in reports) have described it as a **“workable basis for negotiation”**, but not something fully accepted yet. ([The Wall Street Journal][5])

If you want, I can break down which parts are most controversial or likely deal-breakers in negotiations.

IRGC will not surrender. Two weeks reprieve to feed their troops and get ready to unleash whatever they think they have up their sleeve.
IRGC will die in combat or by the Iranian people.

I’ve done no such thing.
I know you have not. I follow you and you are a level headed poster. I apologize for adding this to your post, but a lot of people follow you and I could see where some of them would take that number and start with their inappropriate remarks. I was just trying to get ahead of the curve. Sorry!

In and out. Because of who we are, pretty easy. Sorry my appreciation of our military strength makes you angry. Scream into a pillow.

Apparently, the US knew about Iran’s extensive underground storage of missiles and drones. Though the US (& Israel) has bombed the openings, Iran has cleared away the rubble and deployed missiles and drones repeatedly. Iran’s military capabilities have not been “obliterated.” Their ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz, Israel, neighboring countries, and US assets in the region persists and will continue for an indefinite period. “Total military victory” has not been achieved. Military targets in Iran remain. The US doesn’t have the means or will to destroy these? The US cannot or will not “completely destroy” Iran’s ability to wage war or supply terrorists with weapons?

These questions prompt others - If Iran’s bridges and power plants are destroyed, how will doing so stop a fanatical regime from excavating missiles and drones to continue attacks on shipping and countries in the region? If US intelligence anticipated this, how is it that we initiated military actions without an achievable solution?

Just hanging around... Hope Bibi's on board.

World Peace!
Apocalyptic babbling to ceasefire and "Big money" in less than 12 hours?
Changed up the medication. I guess they gave him the primo stuff tonight.
Pallets of cash coming for Iran and Trump affiliated defense contractor types for reconstruction..

Curious to know where you are getting your info that "Iran blinked" and what they gave for this "two week extension" (same playbook as the tariffs).
Speculation on my part, obviously. I speculate that Iran knew that with their fragile economy lights out would have meant more riots, and that it would have taken them years to build back their power plants.
