So that hostile regime is still in place and we basically accomplished nothing. Pretty much par for the course for modern America.

Man, we should be more like the Romans. They knew how to win wars. Burn their Capital to the Ground... charter their people off as slaves, put a Provincial Governor in charge and make them a province for the Glory of the Empire...
