Iran

You know its bad when the MAGA acolytes aren't satisfied with the non answers. Just further proof Trump had zero idea what he was doing.

Can you provide me the review agencies making that claim?

if you want a full timeline, that last link includes links to all their statements. before you freak out about the dates of some of those reports, that is the date of the REPORT, and not the actual studies.

this was all a big talking point during Trumps first term when we left the deal. I am not surprised that you have conveniently forgotten Trumps old talking points to defend his new talking points. as I said, at some point they lied to us.

@LouderVol didn’t you just call me ignorant for not knowing the thing that didn’t happen?

Solid work
so you want to hang your hat on Trump was lying to us back then to pull out of the deal, but isn't lying now? as I keep telling you, at some point Trump has been lying to us for his own purposes.

feel free to check the reports I provided. they "passed" because they controlled where the inspectors went, and what they saw.

You keep posting articles from after we left the agreement

We should have never entered the deal to begin with so I don’t care enough to go back and see trumps exact statements and know if he lied but “they’re violating the deal” wasn’t his main concern.

ok, so you admit to being fine with being lied to then, and assume it won't happen now...because?

why was it a bad deal then, and a good deal now?

you/Trump would be relying on the same system that Trump took issue with the first go around. So either Trump was wrong to not trust inspectors then, or he is wrong to trust the inspectors now.

either way its not any better.

I pointed it out in that post. if you go read the links the things they are talking about are back dated. A report in 2020 is talking about things that happened in 2019/8, and so forth.
"The Agency notes with serious concern that, for over four months, Iran has denied access to the Agency, under Article 4.b.(i) and Article 5.c of the Additional Protocol, to two locations and, for almost a year, has not engaged in substantive discussions to clarify Agency questions related to the possible undeclared nuclear material and nuclear-related activities in Iran."
that one report is talking about things at at least a year old.

and what does it matter if we left the agreement? We weren't the ones doing the inspection. we weren't the only signer on our side of the table. you really think it makes THAT much of a difference to Iran that the US is the one of the ones sitting there or not?

again if it makes THAT much of a difference, I have no idea why we would trust a new deal with them.

So Trump let Netanyahu sell him on Iranian regime change over the intelligence provided to him by the entire US intelligence apparatus.

He's the dumbest, and most easily manipulated president in US history.

The only win for israel is to change minds without violence. Just pushing the anti semites back a bit otherwise. This current policy is completely reliant on backing by the us and, more importantly, its military. What happens to israel if the us fails? It will be epically awful, and a military as powerful as ours will struggle to overcome the strategic problems of fighting alone half a world away from home.

You’ve not shown a lie, but overall it’s irrelevant because the main issue was the initial deal not if they were or were not following the bad deal.
why was it a bad deal then, and a good deal now?

It’s not the same deal so your question is nonsense.

you/Trump would be relying on the same system that Trump took issue with the first go around. So either Trump was wrong to not trust inspectors then, or he is wrong to trust the inspectors now.

either way its not any better.

Only if you intentionally misrepresent everything is it not any better.

Anyone could objectively telling you turning over their uranium and no longer enriching any uranium is a better deal than one that allows continued enrichment. The rest of what you’re saying is just long winded nonsense

Long winded nonsense. We left that agreement in May of 2018 and you keep trying to tell what they were doing in 2019 and 2020.

You have this annoying posting style where you appear to be deathly allergic to brevity

What if there is nothing left to inspect? Seem that would make things easier.

Not the point but the fact that this would be a "smear" given what's happening in the West Bank is wild

A day after Vance's call with Netanyahu, a Right-wing Israeli news outlet owned by GOP donor Miriam Adelson reported that the Vice President had yelled at Netanyahu over Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

White House officials, who described the story as false, began suspecting that Israelis planted it to try to smear Vance.
