Opinions vary. Mine is mine. And you’re no expert to rate mine meaningfully.Bringing Biden and Obama into it is crazy. The manner in which Trump has treated them goes far beyond any issues Obama had with our allies. IOW, that level of whataboutism is dumb AF. Your suggestion on how to handle it after Trump is naive and weak
Reality check: Ya think, maybe just maybe, that in reality our armed forces withhold information from you or disseminate disinformation? Of course they do. So the truth is you don't *know* donkey, so contain yourself, Chuckles. You keep tagging posts like these with “hope I’m wrong”. There have been at least a few. Try and contain yourself.
If the Ford had been hit there would be a hole, and it would be visible.
You didn't offer a relevant opinion. Instead of addressing the absolute mess Trump has created with our closest allies, and his favor for Putin, you tried to deflect to past Presidents who never put us in this kind of position. Those are factsOpinions vary. Mine is mine. And you’re no expert to rate mine meaningfully.
Pathetic rationalization. There's a huge difference between not being perfect and admitting it and outright incompetence and doubling down on it.It is highly possible that I may have forgotten some of that. Especially since I can’t recall it even as you mention it. But I don’t expect them to be perfect all the time. Kind of a tall task. You’d be hard pressed to prove that anyone in DC is actually remotely qualified for much of anything. That list is small and distinguished. But she’s not the worst by far.
Out of curiosity what do you think is going on?Reality check: Ya think, maybe just maybe, that in reality our armed forces withhold information from you or disseminate disinformation? Of course they do. So the truth is you don't *know* donkey, so contain yourself, Chuckles.
Again, I'm not buying that our aircraft carrier is withdrawing from an active *war* because of a "laundry room fire" that caused no significant injuries. I'm confident there's more than meets the eye here, but the truth may not be told any time soon, if ever.
I rather suspect that if we decide to take that island that it will be in tandem with a Kurd movement in the north supported by US air support, Iran would be a lot more worried about the Kurds than us on that Island. The Kurds could start a tidal wave from the north that would roll all the way into Tehran with Iranian support. I believe that that is the way regime change will take place.no boots on the ground just became boots on the ground.
if you think Iran isn't going to fight to keep their islands you are in for a rude awakening in 20 years when you finally wake up to this being another Afghanistan.
The laundry room is deep inside the carrier, well below the water line. If it had been impacted by a strike the damage to the ship would be severeReality check: Ya think, maybe just maybe, that in reality our armed forces withhold information from you or disseminate disinformation? Agree. No clue regarding why they're returning to port, but it's definitely a big deal that they are.Out of curiosity what do you think is going on?
My thoughts:
if it had been struck those responsible as well as their sponsors would be tripping over themselves to take credit.
If it was sabatoge I might see where the US would want to let this quiet....... But I believe that unlikely.
As the grandson of a Navy man I've heard many stories. A fire in a laundry room doesn't sound too crazy. And any fire damage could be contained but need to be addressed quickly at a friendly port.
The fact we've had so many marquis war vessels in need of repair recently is concerning if we take it at face value.
It would probably be more time efficient to just let him post tweets in a continuous cycle and never call him out. It’s like he’s having a conversation with himself, proving himself wrong over and over. But it’s not as fun.Don’t you know South Asia Twitter account is legit. Ole Nash bitches about Conservative Twitter but then does the same thing.

Another possibility that just occured to me, they need to load or unload someone(s) or something(s) at a port they control or trust completely. Again, I find this highly unlikely but a possibility.Agree. No clue regarding why they're returning to port, but it's definitely a big deal that they are.
And you're right, had Iran actually hit the carrier with something, you would think they'd ballyhoo it somehow, so that seems unlikely.
No. Neither Obama nor Biden ever disparaged the UK or Canada publicly as Trump has in this term. Or France. Or Spain. That's absolutely a fact. It's also a fact neither one of them were as cozy with Putin. No American President in my lifetime has publicly disparaged our allies like Trump. No American President has cozied up to the Russian President like Trump in my lifetime. Not an opinionNo those aren’t facts it’s just your opinion also
Don’t know. I was responding to the incorrect assertion that companies were not going to invest in Venezuela. They are going to invest but until recently did not have permission under US regulations to do so. I linked a source in a subsequent post.Is the US government going to invade Venezuela when the Venezuelan government decides to kick out US oil companies after they've invested in the infrastructure improvements?
