Any president would need to access the situation after this and make a decision on how to react.

Nope. He is just going on social media saying we must respond. He might have actually forgotten he is in charge...

I mean he could just extend that 2 week ceasefire another what, 2 months?

News said a drone took it out. We never had air superiority over Iran or outside it now. Iran's probably been cranking out drones non stop during Trumps 2 week (4 month) ceasefire. This is what happens when tv personalities are calling real world shots.

It is not fair to judge Trump's military response to this until the facts are known and the response occurs.

On the other hand, offering criticism that it appears that Trump is dramatically understating the incident so as to minimize it, and thereby the war generally, is also completely legitimate criticism.

Regardless of the final facts that come out, in the meantime seems clear to me that Trump has lost credibility even within his base as to his willingness to admit bad news or difficult issues. His "Don't worry about the war!" or "Things are really great in the economy, despite your own every day experiences!" schtick is growing old, fast.

The economy is doing fine though and oil is back to under 90 a barrel.

Unemployment is 4.3 and 172k in jobs were added per June report.

Homicide is down 44 percent from 2021 when Biden was president.

I’ve made more money in the last 15 months than I did in 4 years of Biden.

As for the war…..I think we should have just killed all the leaders and left and kept bombing as we felt like it and blowing them up in meetings. So I’m not thrilled were we are right now. It is hard to deal with zealots.

In your scenario do you believe Iran has the capability to destroy energy infrastructure throughout the gulf?

If not why not?

If so, in your opinion, then what happens to oil prices, our economy, and world economy in this scenario?

Some about things that attack the credibility of our government. Like refusing to admit you lost an election. In that moment he became unelectable IMO

That’s a very valid question and one I would need to research more to give an honest answer.

Off the top of my head, I believe they have enough missiles and drones to do serious damage to soft targets.

It’s a situation we put our country and the world in by not building more refineries here and have a ln anti oil agenda by the left.

It would depend on the amount of damage done and if it caused a coalition against them. If they did so to the level you mentioned I think it causes boots on the ground and we take the strait. Oil goes to 130 a barrel for six months thrn back to now..

But I don’t think China will allow Iran to do that as it would hurt them if we invade and if their was a coalition China wouldn’t be able to control it through back channels.

A lot of what ifs……I personally think we jumped the shark after successfully killing so many of their leaders.

My guess is the CIA will start dropping weapons inside and creating an internal regime change.

Sorry…..thinking as I typed caused your question was a great one.
