Israeli military says strike targeted missile materials facility

The Israeli military said its strike on a petrochemical complex in southwest Iran on Monday targeted infrastructure used to produce raw materials for missile manufacturing.
“The targeted infrastructure produced unique materials that serve as critical components for the development of ballistic missiles, which pose a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens,” the military said.
“These are critical components of the production infrastructure supporting the Iranian terror regime’s missile program,” the IDF added.

And each time I am aware of, it has been Iran firing the first shot, yet our resident “wAR CRimEs” crowd is nowhere to be found.

It is almost like their opinion changes based on whether Israel is firing shots, or if Israel is being shot at.
Not true. Israel has broken the rules several times since they do not want a cease fire. It's why the US should break ties and support

So your last post said they attacked our stuff to justify our response on hitting them. Now your saying it's Israel attacks? You aren't making sense

In Gaza, there was a ceasefire agreement. After the Agreement, Israel fired upon people in Gaza. There were many here who responded by crying "war crimes" against Israel, and demanding Israel be held accountable.

Now, with Iran, there is a ceasefire agreement. After the Agreement, Iran has fired upon Israel. Those posters don't utter a word.

That's really ridiculous considering the frequency and scope with which Israel violates ceasefires in general
Ah, the "frequency and scope" argument here.

"Israel did it more, and better!"
and the one in Lebanon in particular.

You mean the particular one that called for a cessation of hostilities by Hezbollah, and control of the pilot zones, (including non-state actors, i.e. Hezbollah) by the Lebanese Armed Forces?

The one that Hezbollah said, "Nah, we are good still waging war, we don't care about your stinkin' ceasefire." That particular one?

Pretty sure both your points just proved my point.

Israel does it, and does it better, Israel is bad and should be punished. Iran and Iranian proxies do it, and it is to be excused, because, well, Israel does it more, and does it better.

Israel absolutely wants a ceasefire, because then they can do what they always do and totally ignore it without retribution.

Proper regime change eh? That’s double talk for boots on the ground if I’m not mistaken.

If you had a son or daughter in the military, would you be willing to potentially sacrifice their life for this stupid war in Iran?
I don’t think he is or has advocated for that based on his prior posts. Like most others on here, believe he has been opposed to this exercise and was just stating if that was the goal, you would have to be all in, boots on the ground, the works, knowing JUST air strikes aren’t going to dislodge the Iranian leadership.
