Interview with Coach Dooley...

Yeah integrity and ethics win you championships and the lack of either will lead you to an unsuccessful career. Afterall, one of the most unethical coaches, Urban Meyer, is extremely unsuccessful.

How is he unethical? I dislike Meyer as much as the next Vol fan, but I wouldn't call him unethical. Kiffin and coach Orgasm on the other hand...

Ed O. Hahaha

Has had 11 different jobs in his 24 year career. (average of 2.18 yrs per job)

Career highlight. 10-25 as HC (0-8 in the SEC his 3rd year)

Has a permanent injunction of protection filed against him. By a woman!

He was ordered into a 26-week domestic violence counseling program.

A "highly intoxicated" Orgeron was arrested in a Baton Rouge, Louisiana bar fight in 1992 and charged with felony second-degree battery among other charges.

Orgeron was placed on probation by the Miami athletic department.

Reports surfaced that he called midterm enrollees at UT to offer them a scholarship at his new school, USC.

Yep. He's awesome!!!!

None of that means that he can't coach the DL or recruit.

Yeah b/c that's the next logical step from junk that happened in his life 15 years ago or more.
It was only about 5 years ago when he walked into the locker room at Ole Miss when he got hired to be the head case, I mean coach, ripped off his shirt and challenged anybody in the room to take him on in a fist fight.

Yeah, he's a nut. He's not a prison inmate. Good grief.

And on a different note: Explain that logic to the Dooley haters. Especially the record part.

O's record at Ole Miss didn't matter because, guess what, he wasn't the head coach here.

Pretty sure he recruited the bulk of that team that destroyed Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl, though.

The more posts I see from this bunch defending Dooley and trashing Kiffin and Crew, the more confident I become in my assertions.
Not sure you need to be going "high horse" when defending Kiffin.

He left for his dream job that opened unexpectedly.

While he was here, he did an exceptional job.

Minus the Ole Miss and Virginia Tech games, one would really be hard-pressed to complain.

If Kiffin and O are still here, we're likely looking at an offense being bolstered by Kyle Prater, Markeith Ambles, Chaz Green, and probably another two or three guys they would have pulled out of their hat.

The defense played better than their personnel suggested, and that's all you can ask for. Hell, we had nobody in the LB core except for McCoy and he was slow.

But what's the point in defending the sorry excuse of a man? What don't you understand about he's not here anymore? Move on,become a USC fan if your man crush is that strong, but don't bring that crap on a Tennessee message board and not expect to be argued with.

Math is hard.

You got me and I deserve you calling me out. I'll take the heat! I would have done the same. It was a stupid mistake, but I'm sure you know what I meant.

:hi:

I fail to see how taking one's dream job means one's a "sorry excuse for a man."

And I don't mind being argued with. People still contend 9/11 was an inside job and the Loch Ness moster is real, too.

Are you a Tennessee fan? If you are, you wouldn't defend him the way you do. I agree that if he were still here we would be in a lot better shape, but it's because of how far he set us back by taking his "dream job".

Why would I be on a forum for a program that's in utter shambles if I weren't a fan?
