The more I think about it, the more I am glad they're gone. What the hell did they accomplish while here? Three of our losses were to lesser opponents, one to a team that we're probably on par with. If he was such an awesome coach, we would have had more wins. The only thing they were good at was recruiting, but its not like we were bad at that before. I think we got a much better deal, and USC just made a huge mistake.

Having said that, I still hate the man because I hate dishonest people and narcissists, which he is both. I hope he fails at everything he does... and I hope USC likes losing to UCLA despite having superior talent, because Kiffin has proven he is capable of that.

I agree let him get USC on probation, its good riddance to he and O, O was dirty at Ole Miss, and Lame got Al Davis to fire him after only 4 games into his second season, Art Shell thinks thats whack

Kiffin and O are both the scum of the earth, not because he left to go to his dream job but because of the way he has acted after the fact. Recruiting players already committed to UT, going out of his way to throw insults at the school that gave his sorry butt a chance. USC will succeed so long as Monte is there, after he is gone Lane is going to blow up in your faces.

Coaches move on, get fired or simply retire. Case in point, there were 22 new coaches appointed this year, with more changes expected to come. What am I getting at? Kids should enroll at SCHOOLS that they want to play for, not the Coaches who recruit them. That way, you can never be disappointed..or start riots, burn mattresses, or create Facebook pages dedicated to the coach who disappointed you..

Great. I'm sure Kiffin mentioned that in his "help me build something special" recruiting pitch.

What that scholarship does not promise, is that Kiffin will be their coach during their entire tenure, nor does it promise them a better chance a to reach the NFL.

Right. These were things that Kiffin, not the LOI, promised to the players. Nobody is claiming that a piece of paper is a liar, that would be silly.

P.S. we all know he left because the Pac 10 is weak sauce compared to the SEC and he can concievably win 10 games next year easy, his only competition will be Oregon and Stanford...... good luck luring Chow back as well :)

Exactly ... that's why it's a better job than UT. You're making Kiffin's point for him. Plus, it's his home.

It's like when a relationship goes bad.

....anything or anyone related to the offending party is pretty much the enemy for a while.

Ok Kiffin offered the kids a scholarship to Tennessee. What that scholarship guarantees is two things…Free education, and the privilege to play football for the Volunteer program. Those two promises will be fulfilled no matter who the coach is. What that scholarship does not promise, is that Kiffin will be their coach during their entire tenure, nor does it promise them a better chance a to reach the NFL. So it bothers me to hear about parents moving all the way to Tennessee because their kid is enrolled there. That’s just plain foolish. In today’s college football atmosphere, playing for a long term head coach should not be expected.

Coaches move on, get fired or simply retire. Case in point, there were 22 new coaches appointed this year, with more changes expected to come. What am I getting at? We know that...but as it applies to Bray's family moving...it had a lot to do with wanting to be able to watch their son's play. It would be too hard to do, flying out to watch Bray and catch their other son's HS game in CA. The coaching staff thing is usually just a tipping point, when you have schools that are equally appealing.

Kiffin is your punk now...and chit is already about to hit the fan with TMZ hot on his trail for some drinking and driving accident back in Sept. with some school coeds.
It got swept under the rug...but no incentive to keep it quiet now. His wife needs to hook up with Tiger Woods and show him what it's like.
