Insanity by Shaun T

I am finishing the second week, I can feel my core getting stronger. The Cardio Circuit is tough with the Level 1 Push Ups and run (Up Downs)...
 
Just got back into it tonight and had to do Max Cardio Conditioning with Insane Abs. My core is as sore as it was in Week 1. Hard stuff tonight.
 
Eric stopped by my work the other day and he looks like a completely different person. He's really doing this right. Props.
 
Max Interval Plyo done, but I hit a wall and took too many breaks for me at about 10 minutes to go. First subpar workout I have had in a few weeks.
 
Max Cardio Conditioning done. I'm also feeling like I am plateauing in my workouts. Good thing I have 1 1/2 weeks to go, and then I am going to start it again.

I can do some and others I can't. I wish I had a pull-up bar that I could use in this apartment. Oh well, when I get a house, I will have my workout room.
 
Ok, recovery day. Core Cardio and Balance and Insane Abs done!!

Only a 8 days left of my first go round. Got to push through.
 
Max Interval Circuit DONE!!! It was definitely better than the last time. Tomorrow it's Core Cardio and Balance to end my week.
 
Core Cardio and Balance DONE!! Got 6 more workouts till my first round of Insanity is complete. Couldn't be happier with the results. Now, I got 12 more weeks lined up when this is finished.
 
I am 19 days in, and feeling pretty good. I was sick the last few days but still worked out some. Did the Cardio Power this morning and mixed in a little cardio abs afterwards.

Eric, what are you doing for the next 12 weeks that you mentioned above?

I made a calendar, but now I am going to have to change it. I forgot about my Upper Body Weight Training video I have.
 
I saw your modified calendar, how have your results been so far for your first round of Insanity? Have you experienced any knee soreness/discomfort?

Not really, but I get that burn towards the end of squat exercises. The only thing that hurts is my feet, but that was because of a bad pair of shoes over a month ago. My results have been amazing. I will weigh myself once I am done with the program. I am gaining some muscle weight now, because of the Phase 2 workouts. I hope to be around 190 when I weigh myself. Gonna take a little more time and effort to get down another 15 to my goal of 175.
 
Max Interval Plyo DONE!! I have increased my Glutamine intake to 10g before working out, 5 grams while working out, and 5 grams afterward in my Max Pro shake. Man, I pumped better than I have ever tonight. Got through most of the workout fine, had issues with the last 2 runs of Level 3 drills (16 pushups + 16 floor runs 2 times each in 45 seconds), but I got 16 each of the first 2 times. Great workout, and my tri's are barking right now.
