tale of two halves. As nutty as that sounds, I actually thought about that last night. Both teams sure did shoot better on the other end.
i give a lot of credit to OSU stepping it up on the defensive end. there were no easy shots and no one is going to go 9-12 from behind the arc in each of the two halves.
the officiating, well, i wasn't happy with it all night, but all in all, i would not consider the officiating a factor in the game. i do think it was called fairly.
as for the 20 pt lead......i knew OSU had a run in 'em. and we didn't exactly help ourselves in the first 3 minutes, but OSU also made plays to get back in it. and even after they did, we still answered the bell most each and ever time.......that game was back and forth from the 14 minute mark in the 2nd to the end.
as homerish as this is going to sound, it is also the truth: We put ourselves in position to have a chance to win the game at the end. And that's really all you can ask.
this team, and program in general, looks to be at the beginning of something very special. and all i need to know is that i have NEVER been as excited about bball as i have been the past two years. So for that, i say thanks. at least i care now.
great season basketvols.:salute:
