I'm not worried a bit about Tyndall...

For crying out loud, CDT has been the head coach for a few weeks, and already the chicken littles are whining.

Sure, the attrition is disappointing, but by no means is it unprecedented after a coaching change.

How many examples of a coaching change resulting in losing 7 players can you name?

Name another situation that had similar attrition. I'll wait.

Nothing I can personally do except sit back and let Coach do his thing. Im not worried about it,. If you don't like the product don't support the team, its just that simple, but in the end you can ***** and moan or be in support. Its that simple.

Attrition like this isn't normal. That is why I wish our local media would try to figure out why it's happening here... and now.

Pretending it is normal or even pretending that it's good is truly dumb.

Id like to know the reason, but I'd also like the local media to stay out of it.

Because you can do what about it?

I'm not worried either. Next year was going to be a transition year with or without Martin. I'd much rather Tyndall be leading the transition than Martin.

Martin used fan unrest as a way to motivate his players against their own school. Sorry, that's chicken sh*t in my book. He said they woke up a sleeping bear. Why the hell was the bear asleep in the first place? You had to use fan unrest to finally motivate your team to do something positive for once? That's pathetic. Take every spineless player that doesn't want to play for UT. It's obvious where their loyalties lie. You play for the University of Tennessee, not the University of Cuonzo Martin. Good riddance.
BEST post i have seen in awhile!!

Not a thing. But those claiming the attrition is a good thing aren't exactly living in the same zip code as reality.

I'd like to see TN become a Football/Basketball school in the future.
If this is what it takes, I'm all for it.
Will donnie succeed? who knows.
I'd rather see 10 guys on the floor that are bleeding orange and fighting to the final buzzer than some of the cluster **** games we had last season.
is it good? Ask me in November.

I agree with wanting players who want to be here, but insinuating that an entire recruitng class and 3 maybe 4 players are leaving because they don't want to work is asinine. It's obvious they are leaving because they didn't like how Martin was treated.

I didn't insinuate what you are insinuating. Read carefully and comprehend carefully. Assuming wrong what others are saying is what gets people into trouble.

I'd love to know the 7 players everyone keeps talking about.

So far the team has lost Thompson and Davis.

4 signees never attended a single class at UT and can be replaced with other recruits. Already upgraded Cornish.

Chevious was already gone.

Who are the 7 that Tyndall lost?

if you look at history, he did this at his two previous stops as well...wanted quick roster turnover

So what ur saying is he is not interested in re-recruiting, but bringing in his own players? It really seems unpresident to have this amount of defection. I think he'll get replacements, how well they compete in the SEC remains an unknown.

I'm just looking at his history of how he does things

Like I said, I'm going the opposite extreme of the "let's build this guy a statue" crowd.

#1 You are grossly exaggerating the support for Coach Tyndall when you refer to them as "let's build this guy a statue" crowd. Nobody is claiming we are winning a national championship next year. As you always do, you are twisting facts to fit the point you are hoping to make.

#2 The irony is thick. And its quite funny. The "let's build him a statue" crowd would be exactly the phrase to describe the camp that you belonged to during Coach Martin's tenure. And now you are like a superhero going out of your way provide balance to the universe by providing extreme views that cancel out the extreme views of the pro-Tyndall crowd. Press on with that agenda. Just realize very few, if anybody, does not see it for exactly what it is.

And what direct correlation does that have to the future success of UT basketball? If there were examples of it happening before would that mean we will win games? If it has not happened does that mean we can't win games? That has no bearing on the future of UT basketball. So what if it has or has not happened.

So something going on that has either never happened or is extremely rare doesn't cause you to at least pause and possibly say....why?
