BEST post i have seen in awhile!!:thumbsup:I'm not worried either. Next year was going to be a transition year with or without Martin. I'd much rather Tyndall be leading the transition than Martin.
Martin used fan unrest as a way to motivate his players against their own school. Sorry, that's chicken sh*t in my book. He said they woke up a sleeping bear. Why the hell was the bear asleep in the first place? You had to use fan unrest to finally motivate your team to do something positive for once? That's pathetic. Take every spineless player that doesn't want to play for UT. It's obvious where their loyalties lie. You play for the University of Tennessee, not the University of Cuonzo Martin. Good riddance.
Not a thing. But those claiming the attrition is a good thing aren't exactly living in the same zip code as reality.
I agree with wanting players who want to be here, but insinuating that an entire recruitng class and 3 maybe 4 players are leaving because they don't want to work is asinine. It's obvious they are leaving because they didn't like how Martin was treated.
I'd like to see TN become a Football/Basketball school in the future.
If this is what it takes, I'm all for it.
Will donnie succeed? who knows.
I'd rather see 10 guys on the floor that are bleeding orange and fighting to the final buzzer than some of the cluster **** games we had last season.
is it good? Ask me in November.
if you look at history, he did this at his two previous stops as well...wanted quick roster turnover
Like I said, I'm going the opposite extreme of the "let's build this guy a statue" crowd.
How many examples of a coaching change resulting in losing 7 players can you name?
And what direct correlation does that have to the future success of UT basketball? If there were examples of it happening before would that mean we will win games? If it has not happened does that mean we can't win games? That has no bearing on the future of UT basketball. So what if it has or has not happened.
