I had my own game last night so I didn't see the game. However UK's offense is designed to get to the free throw line.
The dribble-drive motion is an attacking offense that puts constant pressure on the defense and is designed to get one of three things: free throws, layups or a three. It is based on Vance Walber's points per possession with free throws the highest at 1.4 and layups and threes tied at 1.2. Midrange shots are under 1.
This also puts pressure IMO on the refs because when you drive there usually contact.
