If you're old enough to get on the computer

So no reaction to the "Whoseywhopper in Nashville has unnatural relations with James Franklin" bit?

I figured that that one was always good for a reaction of some sort. :cray:

I know you are good peeps. This thread is a joke . Go Vols!

Give me one reason to stay here, and I'll turn right back around.

Just spent the last few min. reading the last 50 pages off this thread and now my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. I missed the Zone.

Bastogne earned it, then you say you guys were bussed in

No doubt.

I had two great uncles who were Pathfinders with the 101st on D-Day. One went on to be the head NCO at Airborne School at Benning. Both were injured in or around Normandy, one actually was captured and later escaped.

Much credit to the screaming eagles...

I never got my wop-wop wings, but was on the list to go before my discharge (tentatively slated to go to Scofield Barracks). I hear that forced road march is a beast.

I will say this: my airborne class had 8 marines, 5 or so PJs, a bunch of RIP guys, some leg-Rangers and other miscellaneous regular and spec ops guys. The only group that graduated 0? The marines....

I did an internship at the Don F. Pratt Museum on the Fort Campbell Base.. they have a secret vault that houses some of the craziest spoils of war in US history. You couldn't put a price on the stuff in that vault if you wanted to.

I love that kinda stuff. My brother brought an FBI book home last fall n it had cases n how they were cracked. I was addicted to it

Heck to the yeah!

It contained centuries old heirloom Samurai swords that the Japs carried on their side during WWII.. Tons of Hitler's personal belongings. Rare artillery. Etc. etc. etc. Had to go through numerous checkpoints to get in, both Bush and Obama visited during their trips to Ft Campbell.
The epitome of bad ass

Above the rest

Very interesting post.

That is an absolutely true story. I have seen, been around, and worked with all sorts of "hard core" guys and the toughest/best guys I ever met were PJ's. Those guys had an amazing attitude and were fun to be around unlike some of the others who take themselves too seriously.

...then you are old enough to post like it.

When you choose to use phrases like sunshine pumpers, and Dooley worshipers, and negavols, and trolls, and all the other garbage y'all are using to describe each other, you just paint yourself as somebody who can't carry on a valid conversation about the game of football without coloring it with superlatives. If you're point is valid...you don't need the other crap.

There is an unlimited amount of material for our fan base to discuss. Good and bad. It's possible to discuss points without slamming someone else's opinion while you do it.

Show a little self respect, and act like you're capable of talking about the state of the Tennessee Football program without insulting the person you're talking to. It's not that hard.

Bump. You people suck.
