Pat Dooley of the Gainesville Sun reported today that the city still has large swaths without power and gas is hard to find. He advised all Gator fans coming into town for the game to make sure we had a full tank and not to rely on getting any in the area, otherwise we'd be stranded and looking for hotel rooms that are also in short supply.
In light of this, I think a classy move by UT would be to keep the Pride of the Southland in Knoxville. I've seen them arrive down here before and they use like 4 large buses. They also take up a large swath of rooms at the Ocala Hilton off I-75.
Tennessee could make a strong statement by limiting their footprint and reducing their travel party to the athletic director, athletic director's wife, Butch Jones' wife, and maybe the parents of the team captains. We could just put them all in one box.
Or, you could just stfu.
