If you support this hire of Derek Dooley then post in here.

If you do not support the hire of Derek Dooley, then don't do a damn thing and get out.

I for one support this decision. I don't understand why everybody says this is a bad hire. Was Lane Kiffin a good hire going off his record? Hell no.

Did you know he is the son of of legendary University of Georgia head football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley?

Did you know he was the recruiting coordinator for Nick Saban at LSU, which landed 2 number 1 classes in his time.

Everybody around here seems to hate Saban, but will admit he is an awesome coach! Well if Nick Saban likes this guy enough to have him on his staff (LSU to Miami) for 6 years then he's good enough for me.

I just wanted to start this thread so when he proves all of you nay sayers wrong we can look back at who supported this hire!

This thread could become epic if we discover that we have been duped yet again and are still on the prowl for a coach.

I'm not here to bash. I'm willing to give the guy a chance. Sadly, we'll end up going from a top 5 recruiting class to top 35 if we're lucky. I don't know if Dooley can ever even bring in a top 10 class to UT, and that's what it takes to win consistently in the SEC.

Well i'll take him over Cut any day of the week. Cut was going to be a step backward. But at least this guy is young and has potential. Is he ready for UT? I don't know.

Hey if he's willing to "Give His All for Tennessee". Then he's got my support. Give the man a chance if he's willing to take it the way the program is right now, then I'll back him. He'll prove the doubters wrong, gotta good feeling with this guy. Just need to get rid of Hamilton and get Fulmer in there to help this young coach out. Tennessee needs to come together right now, instead of being torn apart.

I would support him if he was hired yes, but this hiring is not official. He deserves a chance.

I don't support Derek Dooley per se, I support the University of Tennessee's football team.

If Derek Dooley is hired to coach that team, then I am 100 percent behind him for however long he is the coach. And I hope he wins a ton of games and remains the coach for a very long time, just as I once wished for Monte Kiffin's son, and for Phil Fulmer nearly 18 years ago.

I don't care who they hire as coach as long as he wins and doesn't embarrass the university. If they hired Steve Spurrier, then go Steve Spurrier.

Notice how no one is following you? It's because we all have a brain and don't follow blindly to anything that is placed in front of us.

This is a nightmare that lasts for 10 years. This idiot went to one bowl game in one of the most pathetic conferences in the history of college football. If he were so damn good, why didn't he stick with Saban and go to Bama? Exactly, this idiot isn't worth it.

"But, you're not paying attention, he had 2 good recruiting classes at LSU"....That's what Saban brings, not this idiot. Where were his classes ranked when HE was HC? Exactly.

Stop telling people how to feel, and for God's sakes quit being such a blind sheep. It's OK to have an opinion. Good Lord.
