If you became the HC @ UT for the rest of the season....what changes would you make to get a different result from what has happened over the last 6 games, going back to last year??

Position changes? Staff changes? Playbook changes? Etc..

Let’s hear em...

BENCH JG.. Also, the next player that didnt give 110 on every play could ride the pine.. IDC if we lose every game.. Yea, I wouldnt be a very good coach lol

No benching guy who haven’t bought in is the only way to show the rest that you run the show. I really wonder how many of the guys who haven’t bought in or are loafing about are starting or getting significant playing time.

I think it sends a bad message to the rest of the team.

Switch QBs, find a dealer and buy PEDs. Players who haven't bought in will be tied up and shot with paintball guns for 2 hours, then put in a cannon and shot off campus. Also, take some of that 4 million, and go to the beach and let Chaney fill in.
Buy a big boat and join the Vol Navy!!

With last season being a wash, I would ship Jauan Jennings to China before the Georgia game to be cloned in a hyper-accelerated aging process. I would keep these cloned Jauan Jennings underneath the stadium, raised on a steady diet of football videos, playbooks, a Dreamcast with NFL 2k5 (kids like the "fun" or so I hear), and all the protein bars and Petros they can stomach. Amidst a frenzy of hysteric press articles from Yahoo and ESPN, Tony Kornhaiser telling Michael Wilbon that "you thought Tennessee was desperate before," and Paul Finebaum mugging to the TV camera as he rails on about sports ethics and how Alabama has ground to make up in the clone war, my team of Jauan Jenningses would go for 6000 yards passing and 94 receiving touchdowns, along with a record 37 interceptions and probably a few sacks if we have some of them put on enough weight to play linebacker, insuring that the name Jauan Jennings could be found on almost every page of the NCAA record books.

Oh, but Cimaglia would still be the kicker. He quality.

Settle the QB situation for this season once and for all....go to the Wing T and move Crouch into the wing as well as JJ. Run, Run and Run some more and the occasional bomb from Jennings to Calloway.

no changes in staff, but I'm calling the offense...I put JG out there and roll him out....a lot...Byrd in the slot...Tillman gets more field time...I sit Calloway for a game...put JG under center with Pope as leading blocker along with Chandler getting the ball from the 3 on in or short yardage first downs a few times...if we have a 2nd and one from the 50 in I go long to either Tillman or Palmer...I throw more over the middle (Byrd)(Jennings)...I basically try to do everything my opponent wouldn't expect me to do...I could go on and on but yep, my approach would be as different as anyone else who would be the HC...:D

GO BIG ORANGE!

I’d start a very robust performance enhancement program. $1000 for touchdowns scored, TD passes, QB sacks, TFLs, fumble recoveries and interceptions. If you get embarrassed on the field at your position, someone else gets to date your girlfriend for the week.

I’d get fired quicker than Pruitt.

If players and the team were not motivated, I’d set them on the freakin bench......even if I had to play a bunch of kickers and punters.

I would not shuffle players in and out like crazy just because they made a mistake (as long as they were playing hard)

Try qb 1, if he didn’t work I would try #2, if he didn’t I’d try #3........but I would stick with one (one at a time) and not go all 4 rotation in a game crap.

I would tell it like it is. “Listen we have sucked, I have sucked” I see improvements in practice.......never would I try to bull crap everyone and say “we are 100 times better than last year” if it was obvious we weren’t.

I'd be way too harsh for snowflake mentality. I'd be in fights with my players on the sidelines. That's the reality of it. I'm just not into the sensitivity generation. I never got the cuddling, more like azz kickings.

The football equivalent of "I could never be a cage fighter. I would accidentally black out and kill someone."

Anyway... I'd do what we should have done after GS.

Simplify on defense. 2-3 plays. No exotic blitzes. If we lose on talent so be it, but the guys we have would know what to do.

On offense, replace JG. If the freshmen are worse than it's time for Jennings to loosen up the Ole shoulder again.

Hmm, I've never seen the coaches cuddling with the players on the sideline. Are you sure you're watching football and not what you normally watch in private on your computer?

Yeah that's it bud. I'd say these kids just don't like someone being harsh. I'd say Pruitt is harsh, all i'm saying. Now go back to watching whatever it is you were watching. Sounds like you're into that sort of thing.
